TW: very, very, very brief ⚠talk of abuse⚠

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n woke up in the middle of the night to see Heather on top of her, cuddled into her. As much as she wanted to smile at this, she still felt like there was some sort of gap between the two. So, she managed to move Heather off of her and laid her down on the bed, she stroked Lily's head placing a small kiss before grabbing a set of keys and heading out.

She obviously put a t-shirt on as well as a zip-up before leaving, she headed outside and simply sat in her car, playing calming music as she tried to think. Her seat was leaned back and the panoramic glass was open yet the proper roof wasn't open, so, she could see outside; she heard the door open and looked to see Heather.

"I saw you not in bed. I thought I'd come find you." Heather expressed as she closed the door and leaned back with Y/n yet on her own chair; Y/n nodded her head letting out a small hum as she didn't know what to say in reply. "Are we okay—?" Heather questioned. Y/n shrugged.

"Don't know." Y/n sighed out. "Shouldn't you be gettin' back to Lily? I don't want her left alone." She added glancing at Heather before looking up at the sky through the panoramic roof.

"And I don't want you to be left alone either." Heather snapped back at her, trying to lighten the mood. Y/n sighed.

"Heather." She huffed out, "I just want to be alone."

"It's not a good idea—"

"I don't care what's a good idea or not." Y/n cut her off; Heather stared her down intently, deeply wanting to know what she had done.

"What've I done?" Heather asked staring her down, Y/n slowly turned her head to Heather, hesitantly. Almost like she didn't want to look at Heather.

"What?" She questioned.

"I've obviously done something to annoy you." Heather sighed out, "What is it? Is it telling Diggins about what we... are? Whatever that it is? Because if it is, then I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry." Heather apologised. "I'm deeply sorry, I didn't know that you wanted to keep it a secret and now that Diggins knows... I trust him. I trust him that he won't tell anyone," Heather expressed, Y/n simply staring her down. Her eyes slightly glistening. "and I want you to have that faith in me too. I mean I haven't told Natalie! O-Or... or Bishop—"

"Because he likes you, Heather. He's in love with you and he's been trying to get your attention since forever. I'm not dumb." Y/n sighed out.

"What?" Heather asked confused.

"You know what I said. He likes you, Heather." Y/n sighed out as she sat up. She turned to Heather, "I mean come on, you had to have at least noticed something." Y/n sighed out.

"N-No—! I've been to focused on us."

"Us? What? So, first you say that we're just friends in front of Lily and now there's an 'us'?" Y/n asked.

"Can you please just tell me what your so mad at me at?" Heather sighed out.

"I LIKE YOU!" Y/n snapped at her, "I'VE HAD A CRUSH ON YOU SINCE—" She paused and let out a small groan, she lifted her knees up to her chin and placed her arms over the top, digging her head into arms. Heather stared her down.

"Y-You like me...?" She asked, a small smile tugging on her lips, as dimples started to form. Y/n peaked one eye out and saw her smile, she hid her face back in her arms and nodded her head.
