A/N: Deena x Sam

Summary: Deena is at a party that she doesn't want to be at as she's quite quiet and quite pessimistic and doesn't really want to talk to anyone apart from Simon and Kate but they introduce her to a special someone that has started to appear a lot more in her life.

ALSO THANK YOU FOR 39K but I have something sad to announce!

I don't think I will be coming back to this book, I mean I might here and there but it'll be very rare. I just honestly am so occupied right now and got other private projects I want to work on, as well as this book and my other.

I really do appreciate it everyone and all the support.
And yeah! I'm sorry that this is a little random, I love you all so much ❤️

HERE WE GO!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deena was in the corner of the living room at a classmate's party, she hated it and simply wanted to go back to her house and play drums or listen to the Pixies or literally anything apart from be at a party. Kate and Simon invited her to the party as they needed someone to drive their drunk asses home and they would feel bad if they decided to leave Deena out of the 'fun' that they thought the party was.

Almost as soon as they arrived, Deena wanted to leave but Kate and Simon had to block the door and drag her further inside, she was also uneasy on leaving Josh alone in the house and since he's always listening to music so loudly and barely hears anything, her mind always led to 'What if a murderer or a robber came in and stole stuff or murdered him and I wouldn't know because I've heard the music and think he's just playing games', however, that excuse was becoming old for Kate and Simon to hear. They at least wanted a new excuse but nope, Deena stuck with the same old one and wasn't able to get out of the party.

And she couldn't even drink her night away so, it's not like she was going to have any fun anyway which bothered her slightly,

"I feel bad." Kate sighed out as her shoulders fell while she held the red cup in her hand that was filled with alcohol, Simon stood beside her as he danced and waved his arms around in a circle while he danced crazily but because of him being intoxicated, he didn't care. He continued to dance but now doing a body roll and leaned his back toward Kate and hung his head to the side in Deena's direction,

"What?" He asked as he could barely hear anything over the loud music, Kate sighed.

"I feel bad for Deena." Kate repeated, Simon looked over at her and saw a guy try to talk to her, seemed like someone she would talk too but she quickly turned him around and pushed him away and shook her head once he looked back to ask his question of if she wanted to dance. Simon giggled at this,

"That's my Deen's." He hummed out, a lopsided grin on his face as he stood normally and stared at her before Kate turned his body to face her,

"I have an idea!" Kate exclaimed, Simon's eyes narrowed as he slanted his head down slightly,

"An idea?"

"Yes." She said, "An idea." She added as she imitated Simon which he giggled at, he nodded his head and ran his hand through his slightly wavy blonde locks.

"What's the idea— WHOA! Little fast there." He giggled out as Kate began to drag him away from their original spot.

Deena's POV:

I hate this. I just want to go home. Plus, why do so many people keep approaching me? Can't they tell that I don't want to talk?

I'm honestly just waiting for Simon and Kate to get bored and then I can leave, I just hope they hurry up because lemme tell you, there is a song that just came out and I am wanting to play it on the drums so badly!
