The Valiant suite was quiet as I brought my attention to the widely open terrace, letting in the beaming sun as well as the light breeze coming from the outside. I couldn't help but observe how spacious and beautiful the terrace looked. Just from the kitchen I can already tell that any steps further out would show me a view of the entire city. The terrace had countless potted plants as well as chairs that were overshadowed by a structured canopy. If I lived in a place like this I'd probably do nothing but invite people over and just cook for them. It's so odd to see all this space end up so cold and silent sometimes. It's been awhile since I've seen Lucy and it's only been me and Castiel, alone.

I adjusted my sleeves as I entered the kitchen, my eyes landing on a familiarly tall figure which I assumed was Castiel. I can only imagine what he's gonna say about me declining that car ride to school yesterday. "Good afternoon sir." I greeted as the figure turned around to face me.

"Good afternoon, Shiloh." A pair of deep hazel green eyes slashed through me with questionable motive. "It's been awhile." Luka clicked his mouth at me as I failed to hide my sudden trepidation that was strong enough to send my body into paralysis.

No.

It can't be.

"W-where's Castiel?" I felt my entire body freeze and tense up the second he stood up off his seat to walk towards me.

"Downstairs trying to steal some liquor for us." Luka's deep voice was wrapped in charm as he tried to suppress a small smirk. "How've you been?" My chest hollowed out as I watched him eventually stand before me now.

"I-I don't want any trouble." My voice became small as I couldn't help but suddenly feel a surge of mixed emotions to shoot throughout my body.

"I don't either. I just wanna talk." He took a step closer, enough for us to really look into each other's eyes and it freaked me out.

I felt my body flinch back as I immediately prepared to leave, only to be held back by a strong grip that was made on my wrist. "Stop! Luka, stop!" I began to scream out as his touch alone was enough to make me go livid.

"Shiloh." His voice remained soft, his grip moving further up from my hands and onto my shoulders to try and calm me down which didn't work as I tried my best to fight him off.

"Get off of me! Get the fuck off of me!" My voice echoed through the suite as my emotions eventually got the best of me and I ended up buried in my own hysterical tears.

"Please Shiloh just let me explain."

Within a split second, my vision and mind seemed to fade into black as everything I was feeling inside had finally taken over me to express onto his domineering height and body. I eventually screamed till I emptied out my lungs and fried my vocal chords, feeling as though everything that I had bottled up had finally cracked into a legion of punches that I landed on his chest. Even though I expected him to fight back, he didn't. He just stood there, taking each and every single swing and impact as I completely lost it.

Luka was absolutely unfazed by my punches as they gradually became slower, weaker, stopping into deep hopeless breaths that were mixed with tears. "Are you done?" He asks solemnly.

I failed to collect myself as I moved back away from him until I hit against a wall, sliding back down against it into an uncontrollable sob. "Shiloh." Luka's voice grew huskier and deeper as he followed and sat himself beside me. "Just look at me, please." I sniffed and took a while to recollect myself, eventually wiping off my blurred vision to look up at him.

I couldn't help but flinch at the sight of his hand beginning to raise, preparing myself for any pain he was planning to send my way.

He slowly shook his head at me as he met my thigh with a gentle hand. "I'm not gonna hurt you." My reaction seemed to have been so genuine and visceral that it was strong enough to make him purse his lips at me in regret. "I swear."
