I walked passed the countless arrays of bright white light that stood tall to accompany the steel bleachers that were heavily congested with people.

The bright evergreen blades of grass stretched as far as my eyes could see as it was hugged by bleachers on each side. The crowd visibly differed as some people color coded with their school of choice. Halyciane was a deep white and a beautiful shade of admiral blue while Amphitrite was a dark cloudy grey and deep burgundy.

I exchanged my home game ticket with a hand gesturing me where to go, following the direction further out in hopes of having the chance to find a seat. In my hand was a plastic container that included plain waffles with tinier containers that contained the butter as well as the syrup. I just thought it would be a cute surprise for him and also a way to let him know that I never forgot about my waffle debt.

I'm so embarrassing, I know.

I used the fogged up lid of the container as a way to look down from catching any awkward stares from people, eventually making my way to a somewhat less congested area of the bleachers, just right by where the cheerleaders were situated.

My eyes peered pass the crowd, landing it on the field the moment the cheerleaders began to burst out into full choreography.

"It's a home game, it's about to get insane! Let's move it and get to it! Come on Tigers, you better do it!" The cheerleaders loudly yelled as I watched two students stretch out a wildly decorated piece of white paper that the football team hid behind.

No sight of him yet..

I couldn't help but wonder who was underneath the Tiger mascot as the cheers continued, complimenting the wild dance moves and cartwheels the mascot was doing. "Come on Tigers show your spirit! Halyciane crowd, let them hear it!" I couldn't help but cringe as the vast wave of cheerleaders turned towards the audience to cheer.

One cheerleader oddly took awhile to turn back around, breaking my gaze off the boys rushing into the white paper just to check who it was and what they were looking at.

Alexis, Luka's girlfriend kept her bright greenish hazel eyes directly at me.

Oh god, please don't talk to me, please don't talk to me.

"Hey!" She exclaimed with a wide smile, capturing other cheerleaders to glance at me as well. "You're Tori's friend right?"

Kill me now.

"What?" I acted clueless, my voice fading off into the loud cheers being made by the audience.

"Come here!" She waved for me to come towards her.

My face quickly turned sour as my hands raised to kindly wave off the idea. "O-oh no." I mouthed out.

"Come on!" She insisted without a single malice painted in her demeanor but I didn't let my hesitation subside. "I'll be right back." She whispered towards her friend with a pat.

GOD PLEASE WHY!?

After a few short moments of the game eventually starting as well as her making her way up the stairs towards me, she finally beamed at me, forcing me to return it with almost the same energy.

"Hey!" She waved, sliding towards the same lane as me.

"H-hey! What's up." I awkwardly responded as I ended coming off less ecstatic than her.

"You're Tori's friend right?" She asked as I subconsciously stared at her for a moment without even thinking.

She was so beautiful up close. Jaw dropping, almost. Her long, thick blonde hair was tied up into a neat bow, her skin a smooth ivory that further emphasized her enamoring eyes. Alexis was incredibly fit too, visibly athletic without question as it felt as if I was standing right next to the human embodiment of a bright searing sunset.
