Geetha's pov :

I woke hearing the the continuous knocks disturbing my peaceful sleep.
I wasn't much startled looking t our sleeping position.
I was snuggling to him where as he was hugging me tightly.
I felt so protected in his arms...

My lips turned into a genuine smile looking at the frown on his forehead listening to the knocks.

I caressed his face to relax his frown but he opened his eyes shocking me a bit.

My hand was on his forehead...he looked at my hand and then to me, who was smiling.
When I tried to retract my hand he held my palm in his hands and kissed it softly looking straight into my eyes making me go gaga over him.

We were snapped into this world when I heard Latha's shout.

"Geetha wake up fastly if you don't want to face the wrath of Peddamma(my Amma)."

I immediately pushed adi as I sat up in my place leaving the confused Adi on the bed.

"Hey what happened??" He asked me.

"Amma...she will be angry if I wake up late. I will have to listen to her boring lecture. I don't really want to do that so it's better I wake now." I said as I opened the door for Latha.

"Oh god!! I have been knocking your door for past 5 mins. What were you doing???" She questioned me with a irritated face.

I couldn't say anything...but blush at her question.
My husband was kissing me.
Ok just my hand...but we have progressed a lot I think so.

I shook my head as I tried to free my head with my husband.
He will be the greatest distraction for me ever.

"How much ever I want to tease you badly looking at your red face we don't have enough time.
But first you go freshen up." She said.

I nodded and without delaying I got ready in a lavender and pink colour locked saree with ruffled border.
I carefully wrapped it around me as I wore my black bead chain along with my thali not wearing any heavy ornaments.

I look simple but I like this look...

Aftr getting ready I rushed inside our room only to see adi who was still in his trackpants from last night.

"You go take a bath and have your breakfast when it's still hot." I urged him to get up.

He jusy followed my orders and I went inside kitchen to offer any help.

There mom was struggling with the pickle jar where we store the mango pickle for the whole year...it's a ceramic pot on the top shelf.

"Let me help you Amma." I said  as I dragged a plastic chair and climbed it.

"Ok but be careful." She said with concern.

I took out the pot as we took out the pickle that will be served along with today's breakfast that is upma...

How do I know it???

Don't even ask....it's a mandatory and one and only breakfast we serve when there are many relatives coming home , or in occasions like weddings .

We will be so tired of eating it for all the days...but what can we do.
If I say the same with my mom she will start preaching that we should learn to appreciate the food we are getting rather than throwing tantrums.

I agree with her but who eats upma 4 days continuously...

My taste buds crave for more food...something different.

'Thats the reason for you to gain weight.' my mind mocked.

But as a good daughter I served all the relatives in disposable plates which they ate without any complaints.
Just then adi came dressed in a pistachio green shirt and denims...
