Hunters POV:

When Nick and Reid come into the kitchen, Noah gets excited and is about to run over to Reid, but Atlas stops him. I nod at Atlas and he takes Noah upstairs while I tell the rest of the boys to stay here for a minute. "What's wrong?" Sebastian asks quickly seeing Nick Atlas and I giving each other looks. "Nothings wrong, just wanted to talk to you guys about tomorrow." I say putting his anxiety to ease. At the mention of tomorrow, Reid looks ready to burst into tears again, although the looks like he was already crying just now. "What's tomorrow?" Spencer asks stuffing his face with snacks. "Yeah honestly I don't even know what the date is today so if somethings happening tomorrow I definitely forgot." Alex says, making me roll my eyes. How these boys ever manage to do anything is beyond me. "Tomorrow is March 22, mom and dads anniversary..." I trail off trying to gage their reactions.

Sebastian nods, so he definitely remembered the date, but looks at the calendar on the fridge real quick to double check. Alex closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, and Spencer is frowning but I can see that it's not out of sadness, but out of anger, so I continue quickly. "Normally we go visit them after everyone comes home from school and work, but we've decided that you'll all be home from school tomorrow and that we'll all be off from work as well. I'm thinking we get up and have a late brunch, and then go visit them. Then come back and maybe watch some home videos? And before any of you object, fine brunch is optional, visiting them is not optional, and the home videos is optional, however if you choose not to watch, you still have to stay home, but no friends coming over tomorrow got it?" I explain to them already knowing Alex and Spencer are going to complain first, and Sebastian second.

"What the fuck why can't anyone come over afterwards?" -Spencer
"Seriously why can't we go out if they can't come over?" -Alexander

The two of them say at once. Followed by Sebastian and Reid.

"Do we have to skip class all morning if brunch is optional?" -Sebastian
"Everyone will be home tomorrow?" -Reid

Nick snorts at Sebastian's question while I nod at Reid. I look at Nick to take over, I've already had my run in with Spence this week, it's his turn now. He calmly looks over to Alexander and Spencer and the rest of us already know what's coming. Reid shuffles over to my side, gently pulling me closer to the door, while Sebastian pretends to be fascinated with a spoon.

Nicholas POV:

Calmly looking at these two fireballs I think of the best way to approach this, however I know that whatever way I choose, it's going to end in yelling. I see Reid and press himself into Hunters side, nudging him to the door, and Hunter checking his temperature on his forehead and then putting his arm around him. Sebastian is being a little shit and playing with a spoon as if nothings about to go down right now.

"First of all, you can't go out or have friends over because that's what we've decided. And before you tell me that's a bullshit reason, I know it is, but it's also the truth, we're lenient with a lot but tomorrow is important. It's a day for us to spend as a family, not with our "extended" family, meaning friends. Your friends not coming over isn't really a new rule, since they're never allowed over on days like this, so that shouldn't really be a shock to you, and as for going out, that's pretty much the same too." I tell them trying not to aggravate them more, but obviously any answer I give them will piss them off.

"Why is it even a rule though? Other years we'd be going in the evening and then coming home for a late dinner so it made sense, that no one could come over or we could go out, but we're going in the middle of the day this time." Alex says and Spencer follows, louder. "Yeah why the fuck do we even need to celebrate it still? They're dead and tomorrow is just another day of them being dead, just like every other day! We dont need to go sit in a fucking cemetery, they're still dead, I don't get why I need to stay home since there's no reason to for any of this bullshit in the first place!" He says with every word getting louder and louder, before I can respond Reid goes off on him.
