Word of the day: windscreen
Recap:
"Becks! Get off the main road!" I hiss.
"Did you want me to go into the forest again?" He asked.
"No! Just get onto a side road so we can see if they're following us. Until we know, whatever you do, don't go home."
"Ok Kemi."
Then I lent on the gun and it fired.
There was out cover blown.
Back to life, back to reality...
"Shit!" I shouted.
"Well done." Muttered Dani.
"Oh I'm sorry Mr Fucking Perfect!" I replied.
"I didn't say I was perfect!" He defended.
"Guys..." Said Becks, pulling us out of our fight and back into reality.
"Yes, right, plan. Ermm... Any one got any ideas?" I asked.
"Forest?" Suggested Becks.
"Not enough of it left." I said.
"What about shooting?" Asked Day.
"How many bullets have we got?" I asked.
"Enough to take out that and another two or three cars." Said Luci.
"Great. Shoot them. Aim for the window screen and the wheels. Anywhere else is a waste of bullets." I said and everyone nodded in reply.
I clicked the gun again.
"Lets do it."
I shot at the windscreen first, hoping to obscure their vision before they had a chance to shoot back.
"Nice one" complimented Day from beside me.
"Cheers."
Another shot at the windscreen.
Dani hit the front right hand tyre.
Day hit the front left hand tyre.
"That should slow them down." I said with a final shot at the windscreen "BECKS PUT YOUR FUCKING FOOT DOWN!"
