"What's going on?" asked Day.
"She knocked me out. And refused the ultimatum." Smith hissed.
"But... But..." I muttered.
"But what?" asked Smith "Nothing you can say will make it better. Say nothing. You'll just make things worse for yourself. I've been more than accommodating. You refuse my offer, fine. You refuse my ultimatum, we have a problem. Right now, most of the Resistance is being taken outside. Ready to be shot. I will follow through with my ultimatum. They will die. And it will be your fault. Unless you change your mind."
"Fine." I said "I'll start the bloody war! BUT I WANT A FUCKING COFFEE BEFORE I DO ANYTHING!"
Day grabbed my hand.
"With sugar!" I finished.
