A/N: I just thought I would pop on and say just in case it wasn't obvious. In this fic, Draco Malfoy and Theodore Nott are not friends, and don't like each other very much. But it will make sense as to why later on, I promise you!

Thursday, 10th October, 1996

Sitting in Astronomy besides Theodore Nott, we were still getting ready for our overnight stay in the Astronomy Tower in a couple of weeks, so that meant a lot of reading and looking into the past years night's sky during October.

"How was it then, Parsons?" Theo asked me out of the blue,

"What do you mean, Theo? How was what?" I cocked my head, a little surprised he was actually talking to me,

"When you spent the entire evening with Malfoy-"

"What?! How do you even know about that?" I interjected, feeling my blood ice in my veins, thinking back to the night I stayed with Draco in his dorm room,

"Because Professor Sinistra told us about it... that you and Malfoy completed the last assignment together?" Theo scowled at me with confusion,

"Ohh, yeah, silly me," I shook my head, feeling embarrassed,

"What were you talking about?" Theo asked, clearing his throat,

"The Astronomy overnight stay, of course, I just forgot that you all knew," I chuckled, hoping I sounded as nonchalant as I meant to,

"So, how was it? Can't imagine it was too pleasant," Theo huffed, rolling his eyes,

"It was okay, we mainly just talked and drank tea," I only half-lied to Theo, "Why'd you ask?"

"Just curious. Can I tell you something, Parsons?" Theo said, his eyes boring into mine,

"Of course, Theo," I said, eager with anticipation and curiosity,

"I think it's really cool that you're friendly with Malfoy. I mean, I think he's um- questionable, but I still think it's cool regardless," Theo pulled his lips into a small line,

"Why do you think that it's cool?" I asked him, genuinely wanting to know,

"I'm not stupid, I know everyone who isn't in Slytherin has this idea of what we're like as people, so I just think it's admirable that you can see one of us in a positive way," Theo shrugged his shoulders,

"Draco is a very good friend to me, he's really quite pleasant to be around. I'm glad you think that though. We can be friends as well, right, Theo?" I asked, smiling softly,

"Sure, Parsons. Friends," Theo said in a clipped tone, looking down at his work, silently telling me the conversation was finished.

Theodore Nott had the sort of voice that would make any girl melt, even I could say I loved to listen to him speak. He was a man of few words, and he didn't speak often, but when he did, he commanded attention unknowingly.

His voice had a powerful, deeper, huskier, and gravelly undertone to it. Draco's voice was only that deep from time-to-time, unlike Theo's, which was deep all the time. You could almost hear it reverberate in your stomach.

Theo craned his neck and glanced up at me. I'd never noticed how piercing his eyes were before now, they were the shade of the ocean, truly beautiful. I got to thinking about what Leanne said all those months ago... he really was good looking.

We'd started our work on the Gouging Spell, Defodio, and were practicing it on a selection of different size rocks and boulders. I couldn't see myself ever using this spell in my life post-Hogwarts, but at least I got to look over at Draco.
