"Wait, I wanna fight him, master. I want to test how much I have grown in the last few years. I wanna prove myself useful and this fight is the right way to do it." Vanessa said in a hurry as she quickly came between Rudeus and Dracula before their battle could start.

"No, he is my father. I am gonna be the one to kill him and drive a stake through his heart." Lilith too spoke up.

"Perhaps you all are forgetting my presence here. I need to be the one to kill him to avenge my mother." Blade said in the most macho way possible.

"..." Rudeus couldn't say anything. They all were right. Each of them had a more valid reason to kill Dracula than him. Truthfully he had no enmity with the vampire lord. Even his system didn't issue any quest to slay him. So his fighting Dracula directly was a waste. Hell, he didn't even have to prove or challenge himself. He knew it as a fact that he was stronger than the king of monsters by a huge margin.

Dracula's magical abilities may prove a little tricky for him to deal with but it still won't matter. Dracula was not a god-level threat, no matter how many power-ups he got. This won't even be a fight to Rudeus. But this could be a good training session for Vanessa. She will be able to understand the limits of her current power and measure her growth.

"You know what, sure. Since I am such an amazing and caring god, I won't even partake in the fight. I'll sit aside for this battle." Rudeus said with a straight face.

"You all dare underestimate me? Underestimate the power of Dracula? I will show you the power of BLOOD." Dracula screamed like a ten-year-old chunibyo. He also summoned three of his generals to him like some boss character. Rudeus didn't recognize two of them but he did recognize the third one as Baroness Blood.

Rudeus couldn't really understand that if Dracula thought that he was truly stronger than all of them combined, then why summon his vampire generals to assist him?

However, Rudeus was a fair god. He wasn't going to fight himself but he was going to let his three teammates have a fair fight against three vampires. But including Dracula, there were four vampires now. So one of them had to go.

Rudeus chose one of the generals randomly and opened an inventory portal window behind him and shot a crimson energy spear into him through the golden swirl. The noble vampire couldn't even react. He died because of the spear without even knowing the cause of his death.

"..." Almost everyone was surprised out of their minds as absolute silence reigned in the room.

"What? There was a number disparity there. We all want a fair fight after all." Rudeus smiled.

Even Dracula couldn't retort anything at this. There was a weird feeling in his undead heart right now. He wondered if making that deal with the red devil was a good choice after all. But he couldn't go back right now. He had already signed the contract and made the deal, he couldn't escape now even if he wanted to. Also, these 'hunters' had killed a large portion of his army and he had to take revenge as their lord and king.

Blade and Lilith each didn't waste any time anymore and directly attacked the two vampire generals while Vanessa prepared to fight Dracula himself.

As the Count squeezed his left hand, his power began to rapidly amp up as he began to grow more and more powerful. His scarlet eyes became redder and his fangs and claws became bigger as he increased in his height as well.

Vanessa tried to copy him as well. She also changed her body into partially that of a vampire like Dracula as she increased her physical stats using her copy ability. The two ran at each other like feral animals with full intent to kill.

The count slashed at Vanessa's neck with his claws but Vanessa being the more agile here avoided it and went for his neck in return. Both of them were trying to decapacitate each other. Vanessa with her training and more control over her powers was doing quite well. She was holding her own.

But Rudeus knew that she won't win here. Vanessa with the help of her superior agility and refined fighting style was able to avoid almost all of Dracula's blows and even landed some of her own but she was not an omega-level mutant. She could not mimic all types of powers, and neither could she copy someone's abilities to an endless level. She could not copy all the power of someone as strong as Dracula. So, soon she began to reach her limit.

It was still quite good because right now she had copied about ninety percent of Dracula's raw physical abilities, although she could not copy his mystic abilities. But the thing was while she was reaching her limit, Dracula was still growing stronger. He was growing more powerful by the minute as he absorbed whatever he had in his left hand.

Rudeus was quite interested in it. He could bet his entire fortune that it was the thing that the 'Devil' had given to the Count to increase his powers as part of the deal. He wondered what it was, he could guess that it was some kind of stone or rock with his senses but he couldn't exactly determine its nature.

His naive mind was even wishing it to be an infinity stone or something but he was sure that he wasn't that lucky. Whatever it was, he was sure that soon it will belong to him after Dracula's death as he could already feel his Golden Rule perk reacting to the treasure coveting it.

By now, Blade had already amputated Dracula's bulky vampire general while Lilith had... summoned hundreds of critters to eat away Baroness Blood alive. It was truly a horrifying sight to watch the adult female vampire general being devoured raw by rats and little insects.

Rudeus just looked at the scene with an expressionless face. The vampire princess really seemed dangerous and vengeful to him.

Vanessa's battle with Dracula on the other hand was also at its peak now. She had recognized her weakness and instead of trying to overpower the Count with his own abilities, she had now started to use her powers imaginatively like rapidly changing her body to dodge or to land unpredictable attacks on him. This again shifted the battle to a neutral side despite Dracula's constant growth in power.

So, he had now started to absorb the stone's power with full force as a red-crimson aura began to cover his entire body. It looked like he had gone into his berserk or rage mode.

He raised his left hand as tremors began to occur in the castle and a violent lightning storm began to wage in the sky.

"Ohhh, not again" Rudeus sighed as he sensed the storm outside. He was seriously beginning to hate storms as well as what happens after.
