What is the Imago Dei?

It literally translates to the Image of God! It focuses on the symbolic relationship between God and man, and the way that man reflects God's image.

In Genesis Two, God creates both man and woman in His image. This is so important because God could've made us into anything-but He chose to make us a reflection of Him!

Why is this important?

It shows that each one of us (all humanity) was meticulously made designed by Him. God created all of us in His image, which means that every gender, every race and ethnicity, every tribe, every tongue, and every nation of people all over the world were made to be a representation of Him and Him alone! In Him, we are all equal!

Genesis 2:27, "God made man in His image, He made him in the image of God."

May you always know that you are made in the beautiful and wonderful image of the Father, who made the heavens and the earth! You are so special in Him
