Psalms 86:11b-12 tells us, "Give me an undivided mind to fear your name. I will praise you with all my heart, Lord my God, and will honor your name forever."
What allows us to have an Undivided Heart?
1. Accepting Jesus's invitation, believing He is God in the flesh, and knowing He died for our sins and rose from the dead. (Luke 5:1-11)
2. We have to give up our idols. We have to deny ourselves AND our selfish desires and follow Him only. (Luke 9:18-36)
3. As the Sustainer of all Creation, God calls us to find rest within His love. We must take a break from our avid, busy lifestyles and come completely before the Lord in rest. (Matthew 11:28-30)
Let us all come before the Lord, desiring an undivided heart and sound mind and spirit within Him, knowing He alone is our Salvation. Knowing that He alone is our Sustainer, our refuge, our rock, our protector, our keeper, and the Lord who loves so so deeply. Jesus loves you!
