Cody's POV:
He was worse than myself. She was in hospital.
"Why were you even with her?" I asked.
"What?" Dylan spoke, his voice deep.
"Why were you with her?"
"She reminds me of someone, is all"
"Who?
"Alyssa"
I stared at him. His little sister is who Hayley reminded him of? In a way, it was sweet. But also creepy.
"I know you miss her, and even more now that Hayley's in hospital. But she isn't Alyssa. She's Hayley" I snapped.
"I know that" Dylan spat.
"So what're you saying? You'd hurt Alyssa too?"
"How dare you?!? How dare you say that to me! I would never hurt my Alyssa"
"But that's basically what your saying!"
"Stop it boys, forget it" Hayley muttered, making us both shut up.

"You are free to go sweetie" the nurse smiled.
"Thank you" Hayley smiled back. I helped her to her feet and walked out with her.
"You alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, just, not used to walking" she winced.
"So your legs are sore?"
"Nah, dummy"
"Shut up smart ass"
I chuckled, picking her up
"You know, eventually I'll need to walk" she whispered.
"Yeah, but I like holding you" I smiled, looking into her eyes. She blushed and smiled. I chuckled softly and put her into the car. I started the car and drove off.

I pulled up at their house and helped Hayley out of the car. I knocked on the door and waited. The door opened and a tired, shirtless Liam opened appeared.
"Cuzzy!" he yelled, pulling her into a hug.
"Gentle, gentle" she muttered.
"Sorry" he smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. Liyah sprinted down the stairs and looked at Hayley for a few seconds.
"Sissy!" she yelled, running to her and hugging her.
"Hey sis" Hayley smiled, hugging her back.
"I missed you"
"I missed you too"
They pulled apart and walked into the house.

I looked out the window and saw Hayley standing on the balcony. It was pouring with rain. She had to be cold. All she was in was a singlet and pants. I walked out and joined her. I put my jacket around her shoulders and pulled her closer to me.
"What if I was wrong?" she asked.
"About what?" I asked.
"Leaving you"
"You weren't. I hurt you. I didn't deserve you. I still don't"
"Cody-"
"Your too good for someone like me"
"Cody"
"It's true"
"Cody!"
"There's no what ifs about it"
"Cody Will!"
"Like, you deserve someone who'll be crazy about you"
"Oh my gosh, Cody"
"Like I don't even kn-"
She kissed me. She kissed me. I kissed back. I pulled her closer by her waist and deepened the kiss.
