Okay, when I say the whole atmosphere around us changed, I mean it. Literally.

Judah stood up abruptly, almost making me fall over, and sneered, "I could ask you the same thing."

The boy wrapped his arm around the girl and smiled sardonically, "You see, she's my girlfriend."

"What the fuck!" Pyper shrieked and I almost wince at her vulgar use of the swear.

"Is there a problem?" The boy asked, tauntingly.

"Why are you being an arsehole?" Pyper spat.

"Why are you being a bitch?" The boy bit back.

"You know what? Fuck you, Phoenix, fuck you." Phoenix. That's a sexy name. It sounded hot and definitely bad ass. I shake my head to clear my thoughts and in response to Pyper, Phoenix scoffed and rolled his eyes. Yet, his said girlfriend and him took a seat at the table. Judah sat down too, right next to me, snaking his arm on my waist, causing Marlowe, Talon, and Pyper to smirk at us.

"That's my brother for you," Pyper muttered after a while, looking down on her phone. Hold the frack up! Did she just say brother? Holy shiitake.

"H-he's you're brother?" I whispered.

"Yes, and an asshole he is of a brother," she replied, rolling her eyes.

I could feel Phoenix burning holes in the side of my head and it didn't feel good. At all. And the fact that Judah had his arm around my waist didn't make it any better.

We sat in death defying silence, and all attention was on me, and Judah's hand on me.

"So, Adrianna! When did you move here?" Pyper asked, breaking the silence, for which I sent her a grateful smile.

"May 25th, yet neither my dad nor I have actually unpacked the boxes," I replied, feeling heat travel up to my cheeks.

"I'd totally love to help!"

"Oh! No, n-"

"And I second that," Marlowe piped in.

"And I third," Judah whispered in my ear, winking when I looked at him. He's reaaally attractive.

Yeah, but Phoenix is more attractive, the other voice retorted. I felt hot all over and I probably looked crimson.

"No, that's not really necessary," my voice small.

"Adrianna," Pyper sighed dramatically, "You're apart of us now," she said softly. The mere thought of being apart of them made me ecstatic.

"Oh, thanks," I murmured joyously, but the stupid grin was plastered on my face.

"What are we doing later?" Judah asked, his head still buried in my hair.
