"I love you, Adrianna," Phoenix whispered to the girl beside him. His arm came around her waist and he pulled her flush against his side as they walked along the sand. The moon was rising behind them, illuminating their silhouettes as the sun was setting before them; they were disappearing into the sunset.

"As do I, Phoenix," she smiled, turning her head in his chest - and to him, there was never any better feeling. They spent all day at Dania Beach - surfing, swimming, playing volleyball, and even builing a sandcastle.

We're five year olds if you didn't know, an inner voice retorted happily in Adrianna's mind. Not even Phoenix could wipe the smile off his face however, because moments like this with Adrianna were irreproducible. And the way her eyes lit up when he proposed the idea, he knew he'd do absolutely anything to see that light again.

They were heading to Jaxson's, only the very best ice cream parlour in this small city of Broward County. Phoenix was shirtless, only dressed in a pair of deep blue swim trunks while Adrianna was only dressed in her bikini - a strapless pearl encrusted mermaid blue bra and a matching fringe high waisted bottom.

They made it to the parlour, dreading the long line, - a repercussion of it being Saturday night - but made the most of it, enjoying each other's company. Adrianna lived for moments like this, seeing the wide, broad smile on Phoenix's face - he looked so young, wild, it was a change from his usual billionaire brooding aura.

It wasn't until they were at the booth that the tables turned. The young boy standing behind the glass pane, ready to take their order was staring blatantly at Adrianna. He was completely ignoring Phoenix, and Adrianna knew he was becoming livid.

"Hello, beautiful," the boy smiled charmingly.

Is he fucking serious? Phoenix thought, blindly raging.

"Hi," Adrianna said simply, laughing lightly.

"What can I get for you," he questioned with a twinkle in his eyes. And Phoenix was furious.

"I'll take a triple coconut, fresh peach, and pina colada in a chocolate sprinkle waffle cone for my girlfriend," Phoenix stated through gritted teeth, jealousy burning in his voice. The boy was literally eyeing her up hungrily!

"And I'll have a creme caramel, coffee, cappuccino, in a chocolate sprinkle waffle cone as well," he stated, sending a murderous glare at the boy.

The boy was straight out flirting with Adrianna and she seemed pretty, damn, oblivious, Phoenix thought irritatedly.

But Adrianna knew very well what was happening, she quickly picked up on it. And she very well played along.

She laughed along and played along and she most definitely didn't care as there was no line behind them.

"You're absolutely gorgeous," he said, smiling smugly.

"Thank you," she beamed, "But I must say, you are absolutely handsome yourself," she smiled cheekily. She was lighting the blinding fire inside the bloke behind her.

"Adrianna, just wait until tonight when we're alone," Phoenix growled behind her.

"I haven't seen you around Dania often," the boy remarked thoughtfully. This asshole has a fucking death wish, Phoenix thought to himself as he tried to control his breathing.

Just as Adrianna opened her mouth to reply, Phoenix situated himself directly behind her, pressing himself completely against her. And she gasped, turning her head slightly feeling his erection against her arse.

He stared down at her with his hands on either side of waist, and with tenderly hooded eyes, love and lust swirled in his irises.

"Our ice cream?" Phoenix questioned unsettlingly with a perfectly arched brow as his eyes flickered to boy's, challenging him. The boy's eyes widened slightly seeing the two in a compromisingly intimate position before he disappeared within the parlour.

He is either really, fucking, stupid, or blind, Phoenix thought rhetorically.

The boy returned with two cones in hand and Phoenix didn't miss the light in Adrianna's eyes. Taking them from the boy and giving Adrianna hers, she gaped at the cone and how perfectly delicious it looked. Phoenix payed and tried to pick up both their surfboards but failing to do so.

"Here, let me help," came Adrianna's soft voice as she came beside him and picked up her own and he picked up his.

"Vámonos!" Adrianna giggled slightly, licking the ice cream and together they both walked out of Jaxson's parlour and in the direction of the beach's pier.

Sitting on the pier with both their feet dangling in the water, they watched as the moonlight glistened brightly in the rippling water. She had her head leaning on his shoulder and his arm came around her small frame.

"Jaloux, Phoenix?" Adrianna questioned with a smirk in her voice.

"Wholly and utterly," he replied in the same tone, "I recall telling you, just wait until I have you to myself in our bed," he uttered all too promisingly.

"Oh, my, god!" Adrianna shrieked happily, clapping her hands together and in the process, dropping her surfboard. The scene in front of her when she made her way to the backyard of the Worthington's mansion shot sparks of electricity through her body. She felt at her genuine happiest - the day spent with her boyfriend and now her best friends all together in what was to Adrianna, a idyllic galaxy.

Judah, Marlowe and Eliezer were sitting on their own tree logs around a bonfire with sparks flying everywhere - the latter two looking rather cozy in just swim trunks. Meanwhile, Blake, Pyper, Talon, and Hunter looked like they were having the time of their lives swimming in the pool with glow sticks! Adrianna's inner child was screaming and shrieking gleefully at it all.

"Oh god, these fools," Phoenix muttered, but when Adrianna tilted her head slightly to look at him, he had the grandest smile etched on his face.

"Come on, come on," Adrianna screamed wildly, pulling Phoenix's hand in the direction of the vast pool. Caught off guard, the surfboard slipped from his grasp but he couldn't help the wholehearted laughter; his girl was really something else.

"Together, Adrianna," Phoenix yelled over the loud mix of Latino music playing and she nodded in response.

And so together, they both dived in, sending everyone into fits of screams and bubbly laughter.

There was absolutely no better way to end their night.
