Prince Saturn and Princess Starfire's engagement party....
after receiving the invitation. He went to his room and locked himself.
why did you do this??
Robin was devastated. She promised to wait for him. They made the promise together.
were the times they spent together mean nothing to her??
he cried silently. He was broken. It was like his other half was gone.
he looked at the invitation again and laughed bitterly.
she even gave me an invitation even though she knew it would hurt me, is this a game for her??
Robin threw the invitation in his trash and slept.
he knew he stand no chance.
the Tamarans seem happy to annoint prince Saturn as their next ruler.
he held his diamond ring and removed it slowly.
[] "promise you'll wait for me??" Robin asked.
"promise" Starfire answered []
he removed the ring and put in in the drawer of forgotten things.
he knew it was time to give up.
maybe we really aren't ment for each other.
Robin thought and he went to sleep.
in his dreams.
Robin and Starfire stood happy and contented in each others arms...
at least in my dreams I could be with her.
then he fell asleep. Dreaming of Starfire.

(Starfire)
"did you sent all the invitations??" Galfore asked our messenger.
"yes. Everyone received even Starfire's friends. Including a guy named Robin." my eyes went wide.
Robin?? He sent an invitation to Robin?!
"why did you sent him an invitation without consulting me??!" I shouted and he cowered away, scared.
"I told him to invite Robin without telling you." Galfore cut in and I felt angry, decieved and hopeless at the same time.
"why try so hard to keep us apart. I agreed to the arranged marriage, I only ask you that I myself will tell Robin about my engagement." I said and Galfore stood up.
"I'm sorry princess but it is done." he started to leave as tears welled up in my eyes.
"how could you Galfore. I know your doing this for me and for the sake of our people but don't you know that your hurting me??" I said and he stopped short.
"I know you'll be hurt but soon you will realize what you feel for him is not intimate but just infatuation." he said.
he left me in the throne room broken and bruised.
Broken because he knew hiw much I liked Robin and telling him about my engagement would hurt him like hell.
Bruised because the last person I expect to support me and love me went out behind my back and did something that would hurt me.
I walked to my room. Tears running down my cheeks.
was this what the humans call "heartbreak?"
I feel like something is wrong. Everything is wrong!
I'm getting married to a stranger......
Robin gave up in waiting for me......
Galfore did what he thought he knew was right.....
I was left.....
BROKEN AND BRUISED.
