Chapter Twenty-One – Mari

I was surprised to see he was gone the next morning and I saw his note. I got Lex ready for school and skipped class to go over there.

I felt bad for insinuating things about him though I did think it was reasonable, but I felt bad none the less. I knocked on the door and when he opened it I held out a cupcake

“Hey, what are you doing here?” he asked and his eyes looked dead

“I wanted to say thank you for locking up and everything.” I said and he nodded and opened up the door farther, giving me the room to walk under his arm. I put a cupcake down and he was leaning against the frame again.

“We keep meeting like this.” he told me and I smiled

“Yeah I know, you look tired.” I looked at his eyes again and he shrugged

“I haven’t really slept.” He admitted

“That bad?” I asked and he nodded

“I went for another run.” He shrugged

“You should sleep.” I told him softly and he rolled his eyes.

“If I could, I would.” he yawned and I groaned internally because I can’t believe I was about to say this.

“I have all day off, want to take a nap with me?” I asked and he raised a brown and looked at me in that way that said really?

“You don’t owe me anything.” He told me

“Yes I do and so come sleep with me.” I walked backwards to his room and he followed

“You’re going to sleep in that?” he asked looking over my clothing and I shrugged he went to his dresser and tossed me a pair of boxers and one of his shirts with Army in bold print across the front.

“Thanks.” I felt the need to repay him for making sure we were safe while we slept

“You can wear that unless you would like to tire me out a little more and then sleep naked.” He smirked and I pulled my clothes off and laid down on his bed

“I can be persuaded.” I smirked at his shocked expression. I licked my lips and got to my hands and knees to crawl to the edge and I pulled his boxers down and he sprang free already hardening and then he groaned when I sucked him into my mouth.

“Oh fuck.” He slowly thrust into my mouth and I moaned

“You like sucking me?” he asked and I nodded. He pushed me on my back and felt between my thighs.

“I fucking love how wet you get.” He told me and he grabbed for a condom in his side drawn, yet another rule broken.

He rolled it on him and positioned himself at my entrance

“It’s okay kitty, I got so turned on having my face between your thighs.” He said as he pushed into me. This was different than all the other times I was here, this wasn’t a charge by the hour thing it was me here and sleeping him because I wanted to. He nibbled and licked at my sensitive flesh until he made me come and only then did he finish and pull me into his arms and close his eyes

I closed my eyes but waited until he fell asleep before I went to sleep too. I woke up a little later when my alarm sounded and he groaned as he looked for it. I turned it off and he yanked me back to him and I hit my head on his hard chest.

“Ouch.” I complained

“Don’t go.” He mumbled

“I have to.” he cracked an eye open and looked down at me yawning.

“But I’m comfortable and I like you naked.” Fucking men.

“Yeah well this was my apology to you so it’s not an all the time kind of thing. Got to make a living somehow.”

“I’ll pay you a grand if you come over one the nights you don’t have Lex and just sleep with me.” he said and I shook my head

“That’s insane. You’re insane I sat up and he pulled my face to his suddenly and I groaned as he kissed me

“But I’m serious.” He ran a finger down my exposed skin

“How do you have so much money?” I asked, a question I normally didn’t but I was curious. He smirked

“Go on a few dates with me and maybe I’ll tell you.” I shook my head and I tried to get up so I could get dressed

“Shawn I have to pick her up.”

“Schools not out for over two hours. I need you.” he whispered seductively in my ear and my body agreed. He rolled another condom on and I laid back as he made life feel fucking amazing right now before he laid back down beside me.

“Well shit.” I said and he smirked some more.

“Come on kitty, it’s just a date and a little sleepover.” He winked and I shook my head

“No. The personal and working line have blurred enough.” They really have.

“So?” he said like it was nothing

“So I have a job to do, I need money and I can’t do this.” I told him

“Why not?” he asked and I sighed

“Because I’m still screwing other guys.” I pointed out and he shrugged

“I know.” He told me

“Ah so this is what you want, free sex?” I asked suddenly irritated with this whole situation. I pulled my clothes on quickly and headed out but before I could get in my car he stopped me.

“I don’t care if it’s free or not Mari I like spending time with you and I enjoy that you’ve spent time with me without it being scheduled because it’s your choice then but if you’re just concerned with money then fine.” He said and then he left. I felt the money in my pocket now and I didn’t even have to count all of it to know he paid entirely too much.
