"You fucker! Is there anything that you can do?..." Gita had woken up to her husband spitting fire on the phone and using profanities that one doesn't want to hear in the morning.

Gita pushed the blanket from her face and stared at him enough to make him look at her. He barked with an angry "What?" seeing her stare. She signed him to talk in low volume and went back under her blanket, hiding in her comforter like an igloo. Some time later, he pulled her blanket and asked her to get up.

"It's 8.30! When are you planning to get up?" Anand asked, all ready in his formals for the office.

Gita threw a pillow at him and retorted, "It's your fault! You kept me awake till 4." She reminded me of his last night activities which almost made her pass out and even now she is too tired to move because of him.

Anand kept the pillow thrown at him on the bed and straightened his shirt and checked if her hit caused any creases on it. He hated untidy clothing and most of all, creased shirts, which she knows and yet she dared to throw a pillow at him.

"Fucking behave yourself! I am not going to tell you again, get up right now, Gitanjali." He said in his stern bossy voice. Gita instantly opened her eyes, got up straight and folded the blankets. Even though he has always been nice to her, she knows better than to test him especially when he was not in good mood.

He has been on her tail to pack her bags for the honeymoon since past week and she has still not done it, to his great displeasure, while he is all set with his bags packed. Gita has never been the person to prepack for a trip, it is always a one night before affair. Anand was meticulous and due to his frequent business trips, he was particular about keeping everything packed. Today, with the help of their staff, Gita packed for the trip as ordered by Anand. Indeed, Anand had agreed to Gita's condition of taking her to a place with no network and internet connection but she forgot to add a "coastal" place. She loved beaches and thought her honeymoon would be at a green place with long coconut trees on both the sides of a narrow road. But Anand loved mountains and the snow a little too much to even consider other options.

He took her to a beautiful cottage in Tapi, a village in the northern mountains. She had her apprehensions about the snowy cold place. The pictures he showed her of the cottage was lovely but the surroundings were completely covered by thick snow blanket.

"What if I freeze to death?" She asked.

"Good for me!" He smirked and put a hand to his heart, acting as if it would be a good relief.

"No, but what if I don't want to go out of the room? It's looks so chilly, I think I would stay in bed all day!" If there is one person who thinks seriously about silly questions, it's Gita.

"Again, good for me!" He winked at her and a little brush crept at her cheeks understanding his meaning. "Infact, it's a good idea! Why don't we just stay in the room, all day - all night?" He asked her in a teasing manner while typing something on his phone.

But this was Anand! He couldn't stay in one room the whole day. He made sure to wake her up in the morning and take her to small local treks which he enjoyed thoroughly. On the second day, her legs ached and she asked him whether they are on honeymoon or some adventure trip. He looked at her as if she is crazy and told her this is nowhere to the adventure this place has to offer. But after looking at her aching legs, he took her to attractive tourist spots and all sorts of famous eateries - expensive as well as local, as her wish was to try them all.

It was on the third day, when they were having a relaxing day she came to know that this beautiful cottage actually belongs to Rishabh Bhai, Anand's friend since his college time. Rishabh always met her during the business parties or at times when Anand goes to hangout with him which is atleast twice a month. They either go to bowling or racing. Rishabh adored Gita due to her simplicity but even more when she started calling him Bhai, as he never had a younger sister. There was only one family employed to take care of the cottage. The two ladies cooked and cleaned and their husbands looked after the maintenance of the cottage.
