Tessa

A few weeks later...

"Surprise!" I see Hardin walking in my office.

"No way!" I get up from my chair and I walk to him, hugging and kissing him. "What are you doing here? You should arrive in two days!"

"You are not happy to see me?"

"Of course, I am! You have no idea how much I missed you." I kiss him again.

"You have work to do?"

"Yes, why?"

"Let's have lunch together."

"I'm sorry, but I came from lunch 15 minutes ago. I'm sorry."

"It's alright."

"If you are hungry, I can order something for you."

"We can't go home?"

"I have just a little from my last book for this year. But please, don't be mad. I missed you and I really want to spend time with you, but I want you to wait another two hours and I'm done, okay?"

"Okay." He pecks my lips. "I love you."

"I love you."

Two hours later, I'm done with my work and we go home.

"Why are you here two days earlier?"

"I wanted to surprise you but as I can see, you are busy with work."

"Please, don't be mad."

"I'm not. I... I'm just tired after my flight."

"We arrive home and you can sleep."

Half hour later, we arrive home where we are greeted by Trish and some nice smell of food.

Trish: "Oh, my son!" She says and she hugs Hardin.

Hardin: "Hi, mum." He kisses her cheek.

Trish: "What a surprise. Welcome home!"

Hardin: "Yeah..."

Trish: "I bet you two are hungry, right?"

Hardin: "Yeah." We sit at the table and Trish serves us the food.

Tessa: "Where are your bags?"

Hardin: "At Christian's place. He's coming later to bring them here."

Tessa: "Alright."

After we eat, we go to the living room where I show Hardin my last ultrasounds.

Trish: "So? When I'm going to know what you are having?"

Tessa: "You have to wait for a little while until we're having our gender reveal party."

Hardin: "But it's just four days, so..."

Trish: "Okay, I will be patient."

A few hours later, me and Hardin go to our bedroom.

"So, now that we're alone..." He says as he locks the door. "Come here baby, I want to show you how much I missed you."

"Hmm... you can show me this in the bathroom. I need bath and you can show me there." I smile and I drag him in our bathroom. He turns on the water and he walks to me.

"Shall we take these clothes off?" I nod and he starts to undress me. His hands linger on my bump. "This is really cute. It's bigger."

"Of course it is." I giggle. "And she's moving right now."
