For Thea's seventeenth birthday, Thea and her friends went to the Dragonfly Inn for another midnight picnic. It was honestly very nice. Todd seemed a little impressed by it, until one of the ducks at the bridge tried to take off with his shoe and he had to chase the duck before finally getting it.
Jess had tagged along because he was curious to know where Liberty was sneaking off to. He had been surprised to find out that Liberty was taking off to go have a midnight picnic on Thea's birthday.
In the afternoon, Jess had tossed a gift bag at Thea, which had a hoodie in it.

"Here, I stole this for you, happy birthday," Jess had said.
It was...oddly sweet that he committed a crime for her, Thea guessed.
Craig's dad did sail his pirate ship in the lake with Thea and her friends, even Rory had to get in the action as well. Doose had seen it and a vein had appeared in his forehead at the sight of the boat. Craig's dad had said that he read the handbook, there was no rule against boats in the lake. Doose looked like he was having some kind of fit at that, because he knew it was true. Then at the next town meeting, he tried to create a law against the ship, but it was like everyone refused that, so the pirate ship stayed.
After that, the holidays had snuck up on them.
Georgia's dad had decided to show up to Stars Hollow this time, so Georgia was very happy with that.
So, Fran, Ethan, Marjorie, and Thea were making dessert for the Bracebridge Dinner, because Sookie was making the food.
There was also a snowman making contest and Georgia wanted Thea to join, even though Thea really didn't want to make a snowman. So Thea made a snowmound and stuck two red glow sticks for eyes and added sticks for hands.

Of course, Francine had gotten tickets to see The Nutcracker like Thea had wanted. It was a good thing that it got Thea out of a Friday Night Dinner.
She took Georgia, Liberty, and Lane with her because Sage, Aiden, and Todd didn't want to go. So, it was a fun Girls' Night Out instead.
