"Twenty questions?" I ask, looking at him.

"What, never heard of it?"

"No, I have. It's just a weird request, that's all."

He laughs a little, "To be honest, I don't care if you think it's weird," he smiles, running his tongue over his lip ring. "Alright then, I'll start. What's your favourite colour?"

"Blue," I tell him.

"Good choice," he smiles. 

"Thanks," I pause. "What's your pet peeve?"

He pause and thinks for a minute. "When people rush work."

"Why?"

"I don't really know, it just annoys the shit out of me."

"I see."

"Why did you move to Sydney?"

"I wanted to get out of Perth."

"Fair enough," he says, smiling crookedly. 

"Who's your favourite character in the Simpsons?" I ask. 

"Bart, you?"

"Lisa."

"Favourite band?"

"Don't really have one."

Luke looks at me, a mix of horror and astonishment on his face. "You don't have a facourite band?"

"I don;t really have time for music."

"That's a shitty excuse."

"Whatever," I say, waving him off. "Next question."

"It's your turn, genius."

"Oh," I smile. "What made you want to be an accountant?"

"I love math."

"Ugh," I say, crinkling up my nose. "Why?"

He shrugs. "I guess, because nothing ever changes. It's the same rules all the time." He turns his head to face thr front so that he isn't looking at me anymore. "I don't like change."

"Oh," I say, his tone has shifted to one of a more serious matter.

He quickly recovers and turns back to me. "Who was your first kiss?"

"Oh," I say again, blushing. "Um... can I like... skip?"

"Come on, you can't skip!"

"Yes I can. I just did."

"No you can't. Now answer the question."

"Fine," I sigh. "Tyler. It was Tyler." I say, glaring at him. 

Luke looks at me for a moment, biting his lip. "You're lying." He says. 

"No I'm not."

"So you're telling me that a girl like you went through all her years of school, and college, and never kissed anyone?"

"What do you mean, 'a girl like me'?"

"Oh come on, look at you. You basically scream preppy, popular girl who dates the star football player."

"Well, I think you watch too many movies."

"It's extremely hard for me to believe that you didn't have your first kiss until you were eighteen. At least."

"Well, It's true."

"Was it good, at least?"

"What do you mean?"
