And this was for the prompt word "garden" so yeah... enjoy~

Sunyoul traveled down the moss covered path, the trees above hiding him from the outside world. He pushed his way through the leaves into the secret garden he had stumbled across over a year ago. He walked into the middle of the garden, still in awe of its beauty but stopped when he noticed that something was off. He looked to the left and saw bite marks in some of the roses and other plants.

He ran a hand over the bite marks and sighed, "I guess I'm not the only one who knows about this place." He glanced to his right and gasped, "Why would something do that?!"

He ran to a corner of the garden where there was a big hole dug out from the ground. He squatted down and pushed the dirt back into the hole as best as he could. He fell back onto his butt with a groan, "Why would something ruin the beauty of this place..."

Sunyoul jumped as he felt a small tap on his shoulder, "What was that!" He screamed.

He spun around to see a frightened girl standing now in front of him, hands held up to show she meant no harm. "I'm so sorry that I scared you." She smiled and let her hands fall back to her sides.

Sunyoul sighed, "Did you do this stuff?"

She looked around him and saw the hole in the ground, "Not exactly..." He looked at her confused and she scratched her neck. "I know what did and I did bring them here. I usually clean everything up before we leave but I was in a rush... I'm sorry for tainting your safe space Sunyoul."

He cocked his head to the side, "I never told you my name."

Her eyes went wide as she tried to figure out a way to explain how she knew this. "I-I heard you mumble it! You were talking to yourself in the third person and I just assumed..."

"I did?" She nodded, completely lying to him. "Okay. Well, it's only fair that I know your name now."

"I guess you're right... My name is Faye." Sunyoul smiled as the now shy Faye. He stared at her for a moment when he noticed a slight glimmer appear behind her. "Uh, I can fix the garden now."

He shook his head and laughed, "How do you plan on doing that?"

She smiled and gently pushed him aside. "Sunyoul, I should tell you something," She said as she squatted down next to the pile of dirt.

He squatted down next to her, "What do you want to tell me?"

She smiled over at him before aiming her hands at the ground, "This is actually a very special garden." As she said this, a golden glimmer came out of her hands and fell onto the ground. "It's a garden run by the fairies of this town. That's why almost no one knows about this place. It's supposed to be a safe area for the fairies passing by and local wildlife to rest."

Sunyoul watched as the ground became one again, his mouth falling open as Faye walked over to the other plants. Sunyoul stood up and stumbled over to Faye as she began to do the same thing to the plants, the flowers no longer having bite marks in their petals. "How did I find this place then?"

Faye smiled gently at him, "I think you may have been hit with just a little pixie dust. Fairies like to help out however they can and I guess you were in need of a private space to just exist for a bit?" Faye said, knowing that she was the one to bring him to this area but not ready to tell him nor admit to anyone how she had fallen for a human.

Sunyoul nodded, still completely in awe of Faye's abilities. "I never thought fairies were real..."

Faye giggled, her laugh sending a warm feeling into Sunyoul's chest. "We like to keep humans unaware of our existence. While some people still believe in us, most have never met a fairy."

"Then I feel very special now." Sunyoul smiled.

Faye looked at him with a grin and then up at the sky with a sigh. "I'm happy then. But I can't stay long, I have things I must attend to."

Sunyoul was disappointed but understood, "Can we meet again then?"

"Of course!" Faye said, excited to learn more about her secret crush. "I come here every night, so I will see you tomorrow?" Sunyoul nodded, excited to have a new friend.

They waved goodbye after they confirmed their plans. Faye escaped into the trees while Sunyoul decided to head back to his home for the night. He was excited to get to know Faye, she seemed sweet and he knew they would get along well.

Plus who doesn't want to make friends with a fairy? Especially if that fairy happens to also be a cute girl.
