Seeking Popularity

I crave popularity,
Yet I talk myself out of it,
Convincing myself that my only distinction
With the populars is the number of fans,
But I will always seek it;
One difference doesn't mean trivial,
Small differences doesn't mean trivial,
Minor differences doesn't mean trivial,
Only trivial differences mean trivial;
I have seen a penny
Make a difference in affordability,
For that's what popularity is to me,
But if I were to be honest,
My solitude motivates me to improve,
For I don't get rewarded for garbage;
I suppose my passion
Exists independently from popularity,
But I will always seek it.
