Troubled Writer

A poet saturated with emotion
Doubts he can find the correct words
For carving beautiful pieces
To touch the hearts of millions.

"What is the problem?"
He would often ask himself,
And he concludes that it's either
His fandom or his skills.

It turns out his conclusions are wrong,
For the problem is his attitude;
He is too obsessed with the fame
That he neglects his worth.

I am his greatest critic,
I even know his thoughts
Before he puts them on paper because
He and I are the same person.
