It was now Winter. The snow was about 5 inches, which meant that Christmas is near by. I'm not sure what to get Draco yet, or how I'm even going to get the gift . We are still not allowed to leave the Manor.
I needed help with Draco's gift, I needed to ask Narcissa. "Hello Narcissa, I need to ask you for a favor, I need help to find a gift for Draco", I said. "Yes of course what do you need?", She replied. "I was wondering if you could go to Hogsmeade to buy Draco a ring", I said. "Yes of course I'll go, I'll leave before dinner", Narcissa said and I nodded in agreement.
Draco POV: This morning I sneaked off to Hogsmeade to buy Katherine a promise ring. I got the rings and went back to the Manor. No one noticed I was gone.
*Couple days go by*
Katherine POV: It's christmas morning, I felt no one next to me. I got up to an amazing gift.

Draco POV: I'm waiting for Kathy at the garden. I saw her walking closer, she looked beautiful. "Hello darling", I say pulling her waist. "Hello luv, Happy Christmas". "Did you see your little surprise on the bed". "Yes I did, It would have been delightful if you were the surprise", Kathy responded with a smile on her face.
"Well I have another surprise for you". I grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes and said,"Katherine I wanna grow old with you, have kids, live in our own manor, I wanna wake up to you every morning, have our kids running up to us while we are laying down in our bed, get from work and see you, Katherine will you accept this promise ring?", I said pulling the box out of my pocket.
Katherine POV: I knew at this moment that this was the man I was going to marry one day. He pulled out a box from his pocket and opened the box revealing a beautiful promise ring. "Will you accept this promise ring", he said. "Yes", I responded. He proceeded on putting the ring on my finger. I planted a soft kiss on his lips.

Draco and I walked hand in hand back into the Manor where we were greeted by Narcissa. " Happy Christmas darlings, come, let's go open presents. We nodded eagerly and went over to the christmas tree and sat down.
"Mother where is Father?", Draco asked. "He had some business to attend with the Dark Lord", Naricssa replied. Draco nodded in disappointment. I knew how distant his father was so he must have been disappointed that he didn't show up.
I interlocked our fingers, and gave Draco a warm smile. "Happy Christmas Kathy dear", Narcissa said, handing me a present. I opened it and found a gorgeous beige coat.

I thanked Narcissa and gave her a hug. "This is for you", I said handing a box to Draco. He opened it and saw the ring I got him.

*Couple weeks later* Draco and I were reading books at the library until Narcissa walked in and said, "Draco, Katherine dear your aunt needs you". We walked down into the living room and that's when we saw them.
