"Diana Evans! Diana Evans! Please come to strip 18 immediately!"
I dressed as fast as I could go, and 2 minutes later, panting, I arrived.
"Finally," breathed the referee.
AN: AHH I forgot if you did pretty good in pools then you got to skip the first round of DE.. but I also forgot what it was called OwO so.. Guessing she did rlly bad-
"Alright. Everyone ready? Enguard, ready fence!"
My opponent charged towards me, (yes I didn't see her name) and I parried before taking a few steps forward and lunging, earning me a point.
"Parry riposte on my right, 1 - 0. Enguard, ready fence!"
Again, I'm not a referee so I have no idea what to say..
She tried her strategy again, I got another point, and this continued until 7 - 0, before realizing her mistake.
"Okay, break!"
(is it called break? I actually forgot.. Plus I'm doing 10 points only bc I'm lazy and you probably don't want to read about this)
I took a short breath and took a large sip of water before wiping the sweat from my face.
"You're doing really good!" said Michelle, who was sitting out.
"Thanks,"
"Just 3 more points!!"
"Okay, everyone back!" called the referee, and I hurried over.
"Enguard, ready fence!"
This time, she came forward slowly, and tried parrying my foil, but I disengaged (is that spelled right?) and hit.
8 - 0.
I hit again. 9 - 0.
10 - 0. I won.
"Good game," I smiled triumphantly, and she, too, muttered 'good game,' before storming off.
Time Skip Cause IDK what to write...
"Medal ceremony time!" cheered Michelle excitedly.
"Yeah, I know. You got 1st though. Congratulations!"
"Thank you! Congratulations to you too, you know, you got 4th."
"Thanks."
"WELCOME TO THE (medal ceremony? XD)"
"In 8th place, we have Reyna Lyner!"
"YAY!!!!!!!!!!"
"In 7th place, we have Anne Graves!"
"In 6th place, we have Amina Juru!"
"YAY!!!!"
"In 5th place, we have Carissa Leek!"
"In 4th place, we have Diana Evans!"
I walked forward, shaking hands with him.
"In 3rd place, we have Clissa Falls!"
"YAYY!!!!!"
"In 2nd place, we have Evangeline Dew!"
"And last but not least, in 1st place, we have.. Michelle Blisser!"
"YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" cheers rang the air. I finally felt peaceful and happy, a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time.
