Chapter 13: Edric's regret

(This chapter will be in Edric's P.O.V.)

"Maybe it's for the best though. The Golden Guard isn't so trust worthy. Being the Emperor's right hand man and all." This doesn't really help me with my regret of taking that picture. Amity's just trying to make myself feel better but it doesn't help at all. 

While I was asleep, mom saw my phone on and snooped through it, then seeing the picture of me and that sleeping guard. In the morning she asked me where I saw him, so I told her. So she went to those guards and told them where he was. I think she was doing this to suck up to the Emperor.

If I never took this picture, this wouldn't have happened. But I guess I shouldn't feel so guilty. Since he's The Golden Guard. maybe he's happy there? Because he definitely wasn't back at Luz's place. The only reason I'm being so worried is because of how edgy he gets over simple, little questions. And Luz gives him worried looks too. So does that lady as well.

(I know it was short, but how was it? Hate to boast, but I think Odelia is pretty in character here. Am I being dramatic with Edric being worried? Writing style too boring?)
