Belos' P.O.V.

It's been a whole day since Hunter's been put in that cell, but I can't fight him till I have more palisman. He may be powerless, but I know he's found a way to defend himself. Just need to make sure nobody can see me like that monster. I can feel myself getting weaker and weaker... If I don't get any palismen soon, I'll become that wendigo again. As I sit on my throne, Gaia walks into the room with a frowning face. Accompanied by Sybil who was instructed to look for Hunter that while ago, but now there's no need. Sybil who's too frowning.

Please don't tell me... I can't hold it much longer. I've gone days without any palismen!

"Well? Where are the palismen?" Sybil is the one to answer. "We couldn't get any. We looked really far but-" "So you came back empty handed?" Raising my hand, a long, thin, razor sharp branch heads into their direction but then I grip my arm in pain as it retracts while I groan in pain. "Just get out. Leave me be. Consider yourself lucky I'm so tired."

That's when I raise up from the throne to head in the direction of my room as the two female witches walk off, obviously spooked. At least one... But no, they're useless. And they're supposed to be one of the best.

As I enter my room and shutting the door, I can already feel the inky ooze dripping down. Now I can't stop coughing and wheezing while bending down in pain, and so I take off my mask while black go pours from my mouth. Some pouring from my eyes, but only barely, so I can see. I know palismen have become a lot more scarce throughout the recent years. especially since Hunter left. And now I've been going days without the palismen regularly.

But now the goo pouring from my tear ducts flow with a more thicker liquid. "No, no... Not no-" But my own words are interrupted from a large crash. What's so bloody important now?! At least I can cover myself with my mask for a little bit. So I put it on before heading out the door. Hunter?! He's using an icicle spear! But how?! It's not possible.

Just as a guard grabs him from behind, he raises the ice weapon forward before jabbing it back, and upward, into the where the guard's rib is. Creating a red circle in the air without a second thought, he only remains still for a split second before I let go, the use of magic only weakening my already damaged state.

(Spelling? Rushed? Next chapter will show how he was able to make a glyph?)
