We didn't have time to watch any movies when we got back since we informed that dinner would be ready in about an hour and Natty wanted us to play with her. We ended up on the carpet of her room coloring against blank sheets of paper that were placed on hardcover fairy tale books. She handed Max six different crayons and told him he had to use those while telling me she's share the rest of her crayons with me. After a short, lighthearted laugh I drew a simple butterfly on top of a simple flower. I have it to Natty after signing: To Natty, Love Ash. Max pouted at me, asking if I was going to make him one too.

"No. I just gave you something a while back. Don't be selfish." I told him sternly.

"Fine." He said acting like a child again, "Them I'll just give Natty my drawing and not you." I rolled my eyes at him before trying to break it to him as nicely as possible,

"Hun, I hate to tell you but you're not that good." He still looked incredibly offended and showed it to Natalie asking,

"You like my drawing right, Natty?" She scrunched up her face before asking what it was. Max has drawn three terrible stick people and written names above. Trying not to look offended again Max pointed to the smallest stick figure and said, "That one is you, and then that's me and Ash." He pointed to the two other stick people who were, what I assume was, holding hands. Natty pointed to the two contested arms and asked,

"What are they doing?"

"We're holding hands. See look." He then explained slowly to Natty how theirs arms ended here and their hands connected there and all I could do was sit there and try not to laugh.

"But why are you holding Ashy's hand?" She questioned innocently.

"Because Ashy is my girlfriend and I want to keep her close so no one can steal her from me." Max explained in the light yet serious tone one uses when speaking to a kid. Natty giggled, her face lighting up before she asked me,

"Does that mean that you're my sister now Ashy?"

"Of course." I reply unable to resist the adorable look on her face before pulling her onto my lap and hugging her. Right then James appears in the open doorway and says with a relieved sigh,

"There you guys are. I thought I'd never find you guys in this huge house." James came and plopped himself down where Natty had been sitting before hugging me. She let out a squeak and crawled away from me to behind Max, hiding her face in the back of his shoulder. Max chuckled before coaxing her,

"Natty, you don't need to be shy. This is James. He goes to school with me and Ash. He's a very good friend of us both." Natty peaked over Max's shoulder at James who have her an award winning smiling. Stupid James is starting her with his literal angelic beauty. Everyone stared at James upon first seeing him, I mean how can you not he practically glowed, even a little girl like Natalie can see that. She squealed again, hiding before looking at him again, a curious look on her face.

Having seemed to muster up her courage Natty walked timidly away from Max and over to James.

"Hi Natty." James greeted sweetly when she came to a stop in front of him before introducing himself even though Max had already mentioned his name. "I'm James but you can call me Jem."

I'd never thought about giving that as a nickname to him and he never offered it up. Not that I minded it just shocked me since I've never heard him refer to himself like that.

"Okay. Hi Jem." She said giggling before Gave walked in. I guess Natty's room was the one for a gathering.

"Hey mum said foods ready who are you?" Gabe said sounding so causal at first before looking lost. I laughed lightly before Max introduced him, again.
