Chapter 17: "Wake Up"

Frediano Pov

Grabbing Emerald by her arm I was fucking mad how dare she embarrass me like this,looking at me crazy like I lost my mind I know I forgotten our date but why the hell was she dancing with him did she know him or something. Yelling in her ear talking about what the hell she was doing Emerald was pissed off but damn she looked fine in that red dress.

Interrupting us in our heated exchange Giovanni decided it was a perfect opportunity to open his mouth and say some smart shit saying
"Is there a problem?" Smirking and shit walking away from Emerald I was fucking livid face to face with him I say
Stay away from me and her
Looking around I see my guys behind me ready for anything just as I see Giovanni's guys behind him being the only child Giovanni figured why not buy friends then have their loyalty.

Laughing Giovanni raises his hands up and says
"Hey man I was dancing with the bitch,she's fine as hell though maybe I'll fuck as good as Adriana then my dad can come in after"
Furious I throw the first punch with Giovanni's mouth bleeding he comes rights at with a blow to the gut. Then all hell broke loose with my crew and his crew fighting tables were flipped glasses were smashed people were scattering to get out of the club in the misted of giving Giovanni another blow to the face I see Emerald lying on the ground with blood gushing from her head I stop fighting him and run to go help her. With Giovanni and his crew cowardly walking away He suddenly stops to look at Emerald and says
"I hope she's not dead, now that would be tragic."
laughing evilly as they all walked away
Holding Emerald's unconscious body on the floor I screamed Alessandro's name as they all look in shock I tell Alessandro to bring the car around and call Doctor Maddox throwing the keys at him he questions "Who the hell is she Frediano?"
"Just Fucking Do it!" I yelled him
Running to go get the car I take off my jacket and put it to her head still bleeding
"Boss we need to leave the cops are coming just leave her here." Dario says
"Shut the fuck up Dario another word and I'll fucking kill you, all of you help me bring her to my car!" I threatened

Alessandro running inside he says
Come on Dr.Maddox is meeting you at your house.
Lifting up Emerald's  limp body the bleeding stopped a little bit. Rushing towards the car the and putting Emerald in the back sit I order all of them to meet me at my house
All nodding their heads I speed off racing to save my future wife's life.

Arriving I meet Dr. Maddox who is already at the door with his medical bag in hand
Opening the car door I lift up Emerald body and rush her into the house with all the bedrooms a the second level I bring her on to the elevator (perks of having a big ass house) now rushing her into my guest room I put her on the bed gently with Dr Maddox following. He is an older 60 year old man other known as the "mob doctor" being around decades when my father first started the business.
"Hello Mr.Benza, who do we have here." eyeing Emerald up and down then inspecting her head
"Can you help her Dr. Maddox?" I say frantic
"Yes of Mr. Benza let me ask did you hold something to head to stop the bleeding?"
"Yes I took my jacket off ."
"Good,good"
nodding his head
"She should be just fine she's still breathing from the way I see it she will only need a couple stitches on the back of the head but she will have a nasty headache when she wakes up."
Finally being able to breathe I see Dr.Maddox get to work on her head.

Taking off his gloves after 3 hours working on Emerald he goes into his bag and takes out prescription bottle of medicine containing OxyContin and extra head badges.
"Tell her to take this every 4 hours and change her head bandage every 2 hours."
Thanking Dr.Maddox and shaking his  hand I take out a wad of cash and hand it to him
Thank you Mr. Benza he says graciously I show him the door as he exits the guys sit all on the couch waiting for me Shep asking me "Is she ok" and and Alessandro Again asking me who she is exhausted I look at all of them and say "Go Home"
then turning around and heading upstairs I hear them leaving out the door none of them saying a word.

Going back upstairs I see Emerald still unconscious lying in the bed I take a blanket to cover up her. Then I pull up a chair sitting there and looking at her silently waiting for her to wake up.
