Chapter 46: "As The Americans Say...."

Third POV

"Excuse me?!" Frediano said shocked

"Oh you didn't hear me the first time?" Monica said with attitude "well I'll just repeat it to you again What the fuck are you doing with my cousin."

Still silent Frediano didn't know what to say

"Speechless ok I'll tell what you are doing with Emerald you just want to have sex with her and leave her. See I know the type of guys you are, Emerald is only here for the summer, this is only a summer romance you and I both know that but Emerald doesn't, I want her to be happy this vacation not to be in a relationship with someone who is a rich boy player. Actually when Emerald told me about you I was curious when she said you were handsome but damn you are fine." Looking at Frediano up and down Monica continues her rant "Frediano Benza twenty seven years old owns multiple hotels a millionaire. Sorry about your father though the blogs online said he was a saint, you have a mother Elena and a sister named Dahlia......"

All of a sudden Emerald comes through the door with a food bag in her hand

"Hey Monica are you still in the shower, so I went to the restaurant down the street and I got the lasagna and some white wine that was too expensive but so damn good when I had it the first time Emerald said ecstatically putting the food in the on the kitchen table

"We're in here."  Monica said directly looking at Frediano

"We who is we?" Emerald asked curiously

"Where are you at?"

"In the living room."

Walking into the living Emerald was a little nervous not knowing who else was there she hoped it wasn't Alessandro again. Seeing Monica wearing a pink sundress sitting nicely in the chair she sees Frediano on the couch looking pissed

"Frediano hi what are you doing here?" Emerald asked knowing full well she told him to stay away for a couple of days

"Hi sweetheart." Frediano says as he immediately gets up and kisses her on the cheek putting his hands on her waist

"Is everything alright?" Emerald said sensing the uncomfortableness in the air

"Yeah everything is good Emerald we were just getting to to know each other, you are right he is nice guy now let's eat some lunch I am starving." Monica said getting up from the chair. "Oh one more thing are we leaving after we eat or we staying in for the rest of the day.

"It's up to you honestly." Emerald said to Monica

"I'll let you know a little later then. Frediano are you going to be joining us at the kitchen table for lunch?" Monica asked nicely

Frediano just made a made a face not wanting to be bothered with Monica and her fake act

"Monica go head in the kitchen and eat without us I need to speak with Frediano for minute."

"Of course I'll leave you two alone." Monica finally said before heading towards the kitchen

Emerald now facing Frediano who clearly looks annoyed kisses him and says "I thought you were going to stay away for a couple of days you promised."

Huffing out loud "I know, I know I just needed to see your beautiful face I miss you."

"I miss you too how long have you been here for?"

"A couple of minutes I was actually going to meet you at the restaurant Monica told where you were I could of bought you two lunch."

"I don't need you buying me anything else I had it so.... how was it....."  Emerald asked hesitant

"How was talking to Monica?"

"Was she nice?" Emerald asked Frediano sincerely

"To say the least." Frediano mumbled under his breath

"What does that mean?"

"She was nice Emerald, you can tell she is very protective over you"

"Now I know she said something inappropriate."

No no.Frediano says shaking his head I'm going to be leaving ok I just wanted to see you I'll call you later ok kissing Emerald after

Ok are you sure you want to leave there is enough food for the three of us please kissing his neck after really wanting him to stay.

"I really can't Emmy."

Fine Emerald said after she stopped his kissing but before you can I ask you something.

"Anything."

"What happened to your hand, you thought I'd ignore the bandages on them but it was the first thing I saw."

Having a flashback of hitting Giovanni Frediano really didn't want to answer that question so his answer was simple

"Nothing." he said

"Nothing so bloody knuckles is just nothing right ok you can leave now." trying to end the conversation between them by walking away from him

Grabbing her by hand Frediano didn't know what to say he couldn't tell her he fought Giovanni because she already knew what about so he made up something lied to be exact

"Look at me I was just mad about something and I took it out on a wall that's it"

"You took it out on a wall,ok." Emerald said still suspicious but just didn't want to push the issue thinking to herself he was fighting someone in mafia business but why couldn't he just tell her that.

"I'm going to leave now alright." Frediano now touching her waist

Fine Emerald said I'll call tonight kissing him goodbye

Walking out the suite Frediano already had a long day and it was only 2:30 in the afternoon he now knows the intentions of Monica she should be lucky he didn't smack her across her face but she is Emerald's cousin and he actually admired her for a minute the love she has Emerald is sincere but the way she went about it just pissed him off even more.

Monica was another problem he had to deal with but didn't know how, the way she looked at him like she wanted to cuss him out or fuck him.

Now walking towards his car his phone starts ringing

Frediano answers "Hi mom."

"Hi Frediano can you come over I would like to speak to you."

"Mom I'm having a long day already and I don't want to argue Frediano said knowing what it's already about

"Frediano please." Elena said pleading

"I'll be there in ten minutes." Frediano said hanging up after

As he gets in his car he thought to himself

As the Americans say, Today keeps getting better and better.
