Chapter 30: "Sticking it to Him"

Joe's POV

Doing my weekly checks of inventories with my son Giovanni and some private investors eyeing at my drug shipments and curious about how authentic the cocaine and marijuana were taking a little snort of  coke I slowly walking away from them while Giovanni talk profit and placement with them.Already feeling a little high I start to reminisce about the past and somewhat.

Ever since that son of a bitch Dominic died and his bastard of a son has been running his business, he never really knew how to do it like his father but is putting some effort in trying I'll give him credit for that. I have been constantly running drugs back and forth through Tuscany,Italy when I should be doing shipments through Florence but Dominic banned me 12 years ago when when one of my cocaine shipments had gotten seized by the "idiota"police which Dominic had the police in his pocket of course I knew I wouldn't be in trouble but he had the audacity to ban me and strictly told me to go somewhere else or he'll sink every one them. The fucking nerve of him. When he was alive we had a "friend-enemy" type of relationship we always wanted to up one another when it came to money,business and women. That's how I found my way to Elena at first I wanted this relationship to be payback and enjoy pissing at Dominic's grave and making Frediano angry was a bonus but now it's more than that I really fell for her. Giovanni reluctantly liked my relationship with Elena but just hated Frediano. Since my ex wife decided to run off and leave Gio with me I did love her but she couldn't handle my life and the choices I made after she gave birth she told me she wanted to leave and take Gio with her I told she could leave but not my son and she grew angry and left all on her own, I still think about her from time to time and Gio never thought more of her than a dead beat mother who just left him. Still in my train of thought my phone starts to ring
"What.?" I said irritated
"Boss, Frediano just left she looks upset."
I have my people at my estate watching everything and everyone then reporting back to me.

Letting out a slight sigh Elena must of of told him we were engaged and didn't handle it well.Frediano always knew how to get into his mother's head and stress her out, ever since I fucked ex broad he always held a grudge against me I couldn't give less then a fuck but let it go it was a fun night. But I think it's more than that he probably thinks I killed his father and wants revenge by killing me.
"Boss?" the guy said on the other end of the phone call
Snapping out of my thoughts
"I'll handle it." then hanging up
Wrapping up the meeting Giovanni takes one look at me and knows I am pissed

Walking up to me he says "it's Frediano isn't it what did he do this time?"

"He is making his own mother upset he knows about our engagement."

"Father I said this to you before I have everything set up just give me word and I'll kill him on the spot his mother and foolish sister won't know, I'm ready." Giovanni says eagerly
Looking at him sternly I say

"I say when we are fucking ready to take him out, we don't have time for mistakes. Give it time son he won't even know what hit him."
