Frediano Pov
Continued.....
"What the fuck did you just say?" I roared at my little sister who looked terrified to even tell me in the first place
"Mom and Joe are engaged." she said again still nervous to tell me again
"What, how, when" I questioned her confused more than ever
"Uhh just this passed weekend it was at mom's house it was just two of them I guess it was a romantic dinner and at the end of the night he proposed and she said yes. She told me a couple days ago."
Sitting back in my seat I was astonished, how could she do this ? why? but then again it wasn't just her it was mainly Joe since he did propose to my mom
Interrupting my thoughts Dahlia said
"Mom looked really happy Freddie and the ring was huge had to be at least 3 carats." Trying to shed light to this potentially disastrous situation
"You think this is funny Dahlia? because it fucking isn't, this is ridiculous I just had a conversation with her and she says yes to Joe's proposal, what about our father? What about his legacy?
"Frediano we are his legacy and as his children we will carry it on, you carrying on his business and me being his beautiful daughter for all eternity
Laughing slightly. Listen Frediano I said this once already and I'll say this again Mom looks really happy with Joe and as much as I don't like this situation as much as you we have to deal with it."
Getting into my own thoughts again I think to the last conversation I had with my mother she spoke about my father so much love and compassion for him since the first day they met,I just fucking hate what intentions Joe has for my family.
Snapping back to my conversation with Dahlia I said
"I understand all of that Dahlia I don't want mom to be so gullible to Joe and this fake fantasy he set up for her but I understand and will respect it for the time being until he decides to betray our family and then I will kill him." Saying it with a simple smile on face
Ending the discussion between us I get up and walk her to the door I finish telling her I will talk to mom tomorrow and tell her to enjoy her trip
Surprised Dahlia said
That's it Freddie we still have so much to talk about and knowing you, you won't let this go
"Trust me I won't but right now I made a date with something that I think is very special and I promised her I will be there on time now get the hell out of here."

Hey my loves I know its really short chapter but I wanted to write a longer one for the next chapter. Finally Emerald and Frediano will go on their first date!! So excited to write this chapter (Hint the chapters name will be "FNOBG") How will Elena act when Frediano knows the truth and confronts her and Joe about it?
