Unexpected Visitor

I looked from my window and I looked back at Freddie and whispered to him "Don't make a sound"

He looked at me. He was confused but he didn't talk. We were standing in a quiet room for at least fifteen minutes before I checked outside again. I left a sigh of relief.

"What just happened?" Freddie asked

"There was someone out there" I told him hoping he wouldn't ask anything else

"Was that someone your mother?" He asked again

I sighed "Yes that was my mother."

"And why didn't you open the door?" He asked

"You know why! I don't want to talk to that woman ever again and she knows that" I raised my voice

"Okay calm down darling" Freddie immediately regretted asking

I heard a knock on the door louder than before.

"If that's her again I swear.." I tried to say but Freddie stopped me

"Calm down I'll handle it, you just be quiet" he said and I did exactly what he said.

Freddie got up and walked to the door. "Watch and learn" he whispered. He took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Hello can I help you?" Freddie asked

Then I heard my mother's voice. Even her voice made me angry. Everything she had done to me came back to my mind. But I tried to be quiet.

"Who are you?" I heard her say

"I don't think that's your business really. But I live here! Are you lost darling?" Freddie asked

"Oh no no..I thought my daughter lives here. I was with her when she got this house" she said

"Oh I know your daughter, she sold me the house a while ago" Freddie said

"How? What? That little prick! You know she thinks she's gonna get away from her mother..she doesn't know a thing" She said

I snapped when I heard this and  walked to the door as fast as possible
"Alright that's it!" I told my mom

"Diane sweetheart" she said awkwardly

"Didn't your boyfriend told you that I want nothing to do with you?" I took a step closer to her

"Diane calm down please" Freddie begged as he tried to hold me back

She looked at Freddie like a mean girl
"You didn't tell me you are dating..him?"

"Oh no we're not dating" Freddie explained

"Typical of Diane! Can't keep a man even if she wanted to" she said

"Freddie let me GO" I took his hands off me and immediately attacked her

Something inside me thought I was becoming like her. She was a violent type of woman and here I was about to do everything she made me go through at such a young age. I was blinded by the anger but before I could do anything I felt someone grabbing me and pulling me away from her. It was Roger

I saw Freddie telling my mother to leave me alone

"I hate you" I felt the tears coming, I yelled at her "you ruined my life once, I'm not gonna let you do that again"

"I should have left you in that orphanage when I had the chance" she looked at me completely emotionless

"Alright stop it! Get out!" Freddie raised his voice at her
