Trouble For Me

Rushed Decisions

*6 weeks later*

Things with me and Brian are going better and better everyday. I really love him so much, he's the best thing that ever happened in my life! Roger and Kathy started dating after that night at the band's gig. When we all meet I try to hide the fact that I don't like her, I mostly hang out with Mary and Kendall and she always tries to get involved to our conversation.

"Are you ready to go?" Brian asked me

"Yes.." I said "Do you happen to know why Roger suddenly invited all of us for drinks at his place?" I asked

"I really don't know. He only said that he has a big announcement to make" he said

I sighed and grabbed my purse

"I know you don't want to be in the same room with Kathy, I don't want to either but we have to go" he hugged me

"Okay..it's only for a night, I can pretend to like her again" I said

"She makes him happy, we just have to deal with it" he grabbed my hand and we got into his car. We arrived at Roger's house.

Brian knocked on his door.

Roger opened the door and Kathy was standing next to him "Hey guys! I'm so glad you could make it!" Roger said and smiled

We greeted each other and we walked inside. I saw Mary and Kendall sitting on the couch and when they saw me they hugged me and I hugged them back. I greeted Freddie and John. The girls immediately pulled me away from Kathy.

"Does any of you know why we are here?" Kendall whispered to us

"I have no idea" I said

"I don't know either" Mary said

Freddie, John and Brian interrupted us "we're going to get drinks, do you girls want a drink?" Freddie asked

"Yes please!" We all said at the same time.

They walked away and came back 2 minutes later and handed us our drinks. Brian placed his arm around me "don't leave Kathy alone.. try to hang out with her even for a while" he whispered in my ear

"Finee!" I said

Brian kissed me and walked back to the guys. I started feeling bad. Brian was right, we may not like her but she doesn't deserve to be alone. We don't have to become her friends, we just have to hang out with her just for tonight. I told that to the girls and they agreed. They were not happy about it but it was just for a night

"Kathy darling why are you sitting by yourself? Come hang out with us" Mary said

Kathy smiled and walked towards us. I noticed that Roger was looking at us and he was smiling too.

We started talking, she wasn't a bad person to hang out with. But we knew that Roger was just an open wallet to her.

"So do you know why Roger invited all of us here?" I asked Kathy

"Yes! And you're going to find out soon" she smiled at all of us

*1 hour later*

"I'll like to make a really important announcement" Roger got up and grabbed Kathy's hand

We all looked at them and waited for Roger to speak.

"Me and Kathy are engaged!" Roger said

We all looked at him in shock. "Are you serious?" Freddie asked

"Yes! We know what you're thinking but we love each other and we make each other really happy! It feels so right!" Roger said

Everyone was silent. I got up "Congratulations you guys!" I said and hugged Roger and Kathy.
