*2 weeks later*

"Where are you going?" Brian asked

"Out with my friends!" I said as I wore my heels

"You're not going out dressed like that.." he said

"Why? What's wrong with my outfit?" I asked

"What's right with it? I can see everything through it. Go change please" He said

"But.."

"Did I stutter? Go change for god's sake!" He interrupted me

"Brian.." I got up "Honey..." I walked up to him "I love you, but never, and I mean, NEVER, talk to me like that!" I said and grabbed my purse

Brian sat on the bed with a disapproving look on his face "I'm only trying to protect you" he said

"I know..but do you know how it makes me feel when you talk to me like that? Like a freaking prostitute!" I said "I'll see you later.." I said and walked out of the house

From the day we told everyone that we're dating, the fights between us haven't stopped and not a week goes by without almost breaking up. He's always acting like I'm his "property" and that he "owns" me and I hate that! I'm not a saint either but I never gave him the right to act like that.

I shook off that moment from my mind and walked into the pub. The girls were already there.

"Hi..sorry I'm late!" I said as I grabbed the chair and sat down

"Don't worry we just got here.." Debbie said

The frustration on my face was visible but I wasn't determined to talk to them about what happened

"I'll go get us drinks!" Veronica said "What do you want to drink?" She asked

We told her what we wanted and she walked to the bartender

"Did you fight with Brian again?" Debbie asked

"What? No!" I said

"What did he say this time?" She asked

".....The usual..." I said

Debbie sighed "You two should really find a way to get along or you'll end up hating each other!" She said

"Yeah, you're right..but it just pisses me off when he treats me like I'm a whore..Since when it's illegal for a woman to take care of herself and dress the way she wants to?" I asked

"Oh come on he's just jealous that you're out here looking gorgeous without him by your side" she said

"Whatever.." I said

Soon enough Veronica placed our drinks right in front of us. I noticed that Veronica didn't get what she usually gets. And what she got was just water.

"Is there anything you want to share with us?" I asked

"I'm just not in the mood to drink!" Veronica said

"Oh really? So basically you wanted us to come here just for you to drink water? I don't think so, something's up!" I said

"Fiiine..but you have to promise not to tell anyone about it!" She said

Me and Debbie agreed to keep our mouths shut

"So the big news is..that I'm pregnant!" She said

We both got up and hugged her "Congratulations!" I said

"So does John knows?" Debbie asked

"No.. I haven't found a way to tell him yet. Don't say anything to him or the other guys!" She said
