Chapter 49

"What's your name sweetie?" I asked her

"Clarissa" she spoke to the mic

"Clarissa..are you ready to sing?" I asked her

"Yes!" She said as I handed her an extra microphone

"Here baby!" I handed a piece of paper to with lyrics on it "I'm sure you're familiar with the song, it's not our song but that's pretty good too" I giggled

"Yeah I think I got it!" She said and held the paper

I looked at the guys and they started playing the song

"People are talkin', talkin' 'bout people
I hear them whisper, you won't believe it" I sang and looked at Brian as he realised the first time I ever quoted it.

"They think we're lovers kept under covers
I just ignore it, but they keep saying" Clarissa sang

"We laugh just a little too loud
We stand just a little too close
We stare just a little too long
Maybe they're seeing something we don't, darlin'" 

"Let's give them something to talk about,

How about love?"  We sang in unison as Brian was looking at Freddie as he remembered the time I was "dating" him

"Let's give them something to talk about baby" I  looked at her and whispered seductively at the mic and came closer with Clarissa as we engaged into a dance that some people would consider inappropriate between two women

All the men were whistling except from Brian. I couldn't tell if he was just mad or if he just got aroused by the view of his former girlfriend and his soon-to-be girlfriend together.

I looked at the people in front of the stage and saw both Roger and Freddie standing there dancing and looking at us. I winked at them as I got my leather jacket off and threw it at them

"It's getting hot in here isn't it Clarissa?" I asked as she did the same

Brian run and caught her jacket before someone else did

"Let's give them something to talk about, baby
A little mystery to figure out

How about love, love, love, love?"  We sang  and the song came to an end and everyone cheered like crazy

"Whoo! That was definitely something to talk about! Thank you Clarissa for helping me out! Did you have fun?" I asked

"You bet! I would do it again.." she said with a smirk drawn on her face

"Always up for a good time, let's do it again sometime!" I smiled and winked at her while she was blushing

"Thank you everyone! I hope you all had a great time! Good night!" I said and the lights went down
