*The next day*

"Diane it's time to wake up" I heard Brian saying

"Leave me alone I want to sleep!" I said and I covered my face with the pillow

"But it's 2pm.." he said and he pulled the pillow away

I grabbed Brian's pillow and tried to go back to sleep but he took that away too

"Give me back my pillow" I said

"No!" He laughed

"Fine I can sleep without a pillow anyway!" I said

Brian sat on the bed and leaned in and kissed my cheek "Fine I'll let you sleep, do you mind if I go to Freddie for a while?" He asked

"Do whatever you want, you don't have to ask me" I said

"Are you going to be okay by yourself?" He asked

"Yes..don't worry!" I said

He gave me a kiss and walked out of the room. I tried to fall back asleep but after 5 minutes I heard Brian calling my name from downstairs

"Diane the police officer from yesterday is here to see you!" He said

I immediately jumped off the bed and walked downstairs and I saw the police officer sitting in the living room

"Good morning officer is everything okay?" I asked

"Yes, Dan is never coming out of jail, I just wanted to check on you miss!" Niko said

"Do you want coffee or some tea?" I asked

"No that's okay, I was hoping to talk to you for a while before I head back to the police station" He said

"Of course!" I said and I sat on the couch next to him

"I saw an interesting picture on your wall yesterday, is that your father?" He asked

"Yes..I lost him 14 years ago.." I said

"You did?" He asked

"Umm yes.. that's what my mother told me at least" I said

"Diane.." he looked at me "he's not dead.." he said

"How do you know?" I asked and I started getting emotional

"I know because I'm your father..but if you don't want to talk to me I'll just leave." He said and he was getting emotional too

"I knew it..." I started crying

"I can leave if you want" he said

"No. Please stay. I just need a moment." I couldn't talk properly and I run to the hallway and cried so much

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back and I saw my father crying too, without hesitation I hugged him. I wasn't mad, I wasn't sad.. I was happy because I was finally seeing my father again.

"I missed you so much princess" he said and he hugged me tight "I'm so sorry I missed all these years, your mother told you I was dead and your mother told me you were gone!" He said

"She did WHAT?" I yelled "she told you I was gone? Oh that witch!!!" I said

"It's okay! We finally found each other and that's all that matters! And I'll make sure she won't come into our lives ever again!" He said

"You promise?" I asked

"I promise!" He said
