I removed my apron, wore my jacket and grabbed my purse and I headed out of the store. I saw Brian walking up and down the sidewalk.

"Ready to talk?" I asked

"Is this an interrogation? Give me a break!" He said

"Fine, I'll give you all the time you need to come up with some excuse on why you didn't tell me that you were seeing another woman before sleeping with me..Is that what you want?" I said

"You would had backed out if I told you!" He said

"I would freaking wait till you figured things out. I like you, you dumbass, I could wait a whole eternity for you!" I said

"You...What?" He gave me a confused look

"I like you..!" I said

"I like you too.." he said

"I kinda knew to be honest" I said

"Freddie told you?" He asked

"Yep..From day one!" I giggled

He blushed and smiled.

"But I still think you're a jerk for breaking up with that girl after what happened..How were you so sure that I wouldn't turn you down after last night?" I asked

"Because..in your exact words 'you want me all to yourself' and 'you were so sure about it'.." he said

I blushed and I looked down "Wow.." I looked at him "I'm never drinking again..I say too much" I laughed

"It was true, right?" He asked

"Yes..but!" I said

"No but! You can't change your answer now!" He said

"Let me finish! But you still owe an apology and an explanation to that woman or she'll never move on.." I said

"You're right..and I will, I promise" he said

"Okay.." I stood there awkwardly

"So what that means for us?" He asked

"Can we keep what happens between us low-key until everything clears up? I'm definitely not seeking for drama at this point..I think I've had enough for a couple of years.." I said

"Your wish is my command.." he said and smiled as he took my hand in his and made our way back to my house

"Are you hungry?" I asked

"Yeah a bit" he said

"What do you want me to cook?" I asked

"You don't have to cook. We'll get something on our way to the house" he said

"Are you sure?" I asked "It won't take long" I said

"I'm sure!" He said

As we were walking we heard Freddie calling out for us. Brian immediately let go of my hand and we placed our hands in our pockets.

"Hi Fred!" Brian said

Freddie seemed angry "Brian you little liar!" He said

"What did I do?" He asked obviously confused

"You told me you couldn't hang out with us because you're spending the day with your girlfriend and here you are hanging out with Diane!" He said

"If I told you I was hanging out with Diane you would make it a big deal" He asked

"The fact that I always say that you two should get together isn't a valid reason to lie" Freddie said

"You and the other two make us feel uncomfortable every time we all hang out together. That's why I lied! He said
