"STOP!" Song Shai yelled as her frightened driver quickly halted.

It wasn't only him, everyone in the area stopped and turned, including the men that were beating up the boy.

Quickly her driver snapped back from his frightened state so that he could quickly go into the carriage to yell and reprimand Song Shai for her actions, but before he got the chance Song Shai hopped out of the carriage and gave him an emotionless but sole piercing look, enough to again force him into submission. Then she started to walk towards the almost lifeless body of the boy.

"Why is a group of men beating up one tiny boy?" Song Shai questioned, her voice was emotionless but somehow held a deadly tone, it was enough to keep the grown men stiff and unmoving.

"H-he started it, he stole a prized jewel necklace and tried to run, when we caught him he started fighting us all! It's his fault! Ha, and why does this young Miss care to get involved?" The bravest of the men was quick to speak, although his tone was nervous he still managed to layer it with mockery.

Song Shai paid close attention to the shabby looking mans tone, from the sound of his words she could clearly tell he was lying.

After being lied to for so many worlds, it was easy for the Villain to discern the truth in these types of people.

Yes, the men surrounding the boy were clearly just greedy men after a treasure the boy possessed.

Therefore they planned to "justly" beat up the boy under the guise that he had stolen their treasure, when in truth it was the other way around...

However even after knowing this the Villain wasn't bothered, instead she meditated on the beggar man's last words.

"Why had she interfered?"

It was unlike her to get involved in such petty fights.

It's not like she had compassion for the boy, rather it was good for such a young weak boy to die now instead of continually suffering in the world.

The Villain knew this better than anyone.

Yes, that's how it should have been.

Yet, for some reason, when she saw the boys eyes that looked like hers, it made her unable to ignore the situation and instead want to help.

The eyes looked like hers, yet they were slightly different, they reminded her of her own eyes from many worlds ago, although his eyes looked dead and lifeless, there was still a hint of real emotion in them, anger, an emotion the villain hadn't felt in a long time.

After the Villain gave up the emotion of anger she truly became an emotionless brick, as that was the last true emotion she felt.

Yet, the boys eyes still burned faintly with that emotion.

Although his eyes looked dead they still held a glint of life in them, as though the boy was desperately trying to cling to life through his hatred of the world.

Seeing this young boy with dark otherworldly, soul piecing eyes, the Villain couldn't help in becoming attached.

She felt as though she needed to protect those eyes, protect them before they truly became lifeless only wanting to seek the sweet relief of death.

Yes, protect them from becoming like her eyes...

Song Shai turned back towards the men as she started to tug at her hair.

In an instant her hair became loose, it rushed down like a black waterfall as it dripped over her shoulders, after all she had just pulled out the Jade hairpin that had been keeping it in place.
