Arc 4 Chapter 3: Undying Love

His soul was dying.

However since she had administered the life elixir in time it was currently in a stable state. That didn't mean he was out of the woods though, she had simply delayed the inevitable, if he were to actually die in this world then his soul would surely shatter into nothingness. 

Yes, he was on the edge of existing. 

"He doesn't have much time. If he dies in this world then..." The Villain stopped her thoughts as her soul once again slightly shook.

She didn't want to think about such a thing, she wanted to refuse these types of thoughts but they burrowed deep into the depths of her mind.

"It doesn't matter. After this world the contract with Jun will end and my soul will be destroyed. Therefore it doesn't matter. It doesn't-... It's not like I could do anything even if I wanted too..."

The Villain thoughts were cruel but her mind was made up as her eyes went back to their usual emotionless bleak.

She was always like this, she wouldn't think about the things she didn't want to acknowledge. (AN: Just like Jun's feelings) After all she knew there was no use prying, she had no way of stopping such a thing, she was simply powerless in the grand scheme of things. Yes, her goal was simple, she sought her own demise nothing more.

She reassured herself. "I am the Villain. Therefore, I am incapable of caring for another..."

Her heart had long ago turned cold, she had no room for love. If she opened her heart up, she was just asking to be hurt. 

Even so, she couldn't stop the deep pain that lightly stabbed in her heart.

It was then that her thoughts were interrupted by the feverish youth.

"Just...kill... kill me already." His bruised bound hand was still tightly grabbing onto hers as it trembled weak with pain. What he didn't know was that his body was already coursing with the healing effects from the 【Life Elixir】

It was at that moment when the Villain looked down at the deeply pained face that she grew stiff, unconsciously her mind couldn't help but want to concoct a scheme in order to save Jun.

Yes, no matter how much she denied it, she wanted to save Jun. 

"Ah." 

And so she found a solution.

She was in an immortal world, yes, she had realized a way.

'I'm the Villain, so it's time I "act" like one.' 

The Villain clenched her fists and inwardly sighed, before looking down at the teen with an evil smirk. Quickly her hand slipped down to the young man's chin, lightly she lifted it to face her.

"~Haha you asked me to kill you? Now why would I do that, especially when I just went to all the trouble of saving you?"

The young mans weak head finally lifted to look at the strange beauty. "Save me...?"

It was at that moment when he looked up towards the strange woman's dark eyes that his heart beat almost stopped, his bleak eyes regained some vigor as he looked at the chilling beautiful woman in silky black robes.

Suddenly he desperately felt the need to escape as he was held tight in the woman's grasp!

But before he could do such a thing the woman's hand that had been placed softly on his chin, suddenly shifted down to his neck where it tightly wrapped around.
