Three years passed in the brink of an eye and soon Jun was eighteen.

Now he truly was a sturdy strong man who excelled not only in swordsmanship but also magic. (Of course he only showed his magic in front of Sylvia though.)

He was also tall and lean with a muscular physique. His silver colored short hair paired beautifully with his golden tanned skin from always training vigorously outside.

Yes, he was stunningly handsome.

All the maids gently swooned for the handsome well built young man. After all he was of marriageable age and still had no signs of a fiance. But still, they didn't dare approach, after all, Jun only had eyes for one person, his dear Princess Sylvia.

For the past three years he had been especially clingy, always right next to Sylvia protecting her so that she couldn't get so much as a scratch.

He never wanted to see her hurt. But still, he kept his emotions in check, he knew he was still a knight, no one would accept their union if he didn't become at least a commander level rank. Moreover he was sure Sylvia would never look at him as a potential partner until he worked his way up.

That didn't mean he dared give up! Silently he was working his way up to commander position in order to one day break off Sylvia's engagement and instead marry her.

Yes, he was already starting to scheme ways in which to move up in rank quicker.

As he was thinking this, Sylvia's thoughts were on something completely different.

It was nearing the end of the plot, the time for the next King to be crowned was coming soon.

Silently Sylvia began to muse. All these years she had carefully taught Jun about politics and magic, now she was convinced he could succeed as Dandars new King.

No matter what, as long as he was the strongest magic user he would be accepted as King.

Yes, he would steal the ML's position.

As the day arrived for the new Kings Summon Sylvia contently went with Jun to Dandar's capital.

Now was the time to reveal her trump card. In one fowl swoop she would destroy the plot and crown Jun as King.

All this time she had been teaching Jun and keeping him on the side lines in order to avoid the conflict for the crown, now would be his time to shine.

It wasn't long before the carriage arrived at Dandar's palace and Sylvia was led by a handful of maids into the royal hall.

Just like years before, the hall was completely packed with nobles and royalty.

It had been quite a few years since the last Kings Summon. All those years had been hard for the third prince, Prince Valentine,  finally it was his time to shine... or so everyone thought.

Quietly Sylvia started to make her way through the crowd but unlike last time, instead of everyone staring at her, everyone stared at the tall handsome man silently accompanying her from behind.

The nobles began to whisper wondering just who he was and his relation to the Princess.

Sylvia lightly laughed in her head. 'Good, let their imaginations run wild.'

Quickly she made her way to the front where she was seated next to a despondent Prince Keefe.

All these years he had unknowingly taken on her task as being the villain. And like the original Villain, it never paid off.
