Arc 3 Chapter 25: Royal Knight

'Why did it suddenly turn to -100%?' Sylvia silently wondered as she sat down at the new venue.

At the same time, Jun instinctively tightened his hand around Sylvia's waist, as though he instinctively sensed something wrong.

"Don't forget, you promised to stay with me forever. And it was you who made me promise to not make you meals any longer so you can't leave because of that." Jun anxiously warned.

Instead of agreeing with Jun, Sylvia simply stared back at him saying nothing, knowing her time was finally up.

Whether she tried to prologue it or not, she would eventually be killed.

Seeing this, Jun's nervousness further increased, but before he could confront Sylvia, a handful of servants began placing food on the table.

"Your meal is served." A cheerful voice echoed out bringing the Villain back to reality. Behind the kind voice Sylvia could just slightly hear a twinge of deep hatred and malice.

Looking up, she suddenly paid close attention to all the servers. 

Quickly she noticed her, although the face was partially covered she could tell it was the FL, Princess Mirabelle.

Sylvia had kept tabs on the main characters for the past few weeks, and through that she had learned that Princess Mirabelle had desperately tried to re-establish her engagement with Prince Valentine but to no avail. Instead she had been rejected not only as his fiance but also as Jun's fiance. To top it all off her countries people blamed her for her failure, leading to Princess Mirabelle's heart darkening. 

Now seeing Princess Mirabelle here, Sylvia was sure she would try to get revenge.

Jun unfortunately was unaware as he was distracted with unease topped with a few pesky advisers surrounding him to give there congratulations.

In all the busyness, Sylvia looked at the food placed before her as she swiftly sniffed for poison.

She detected nothing... 

'Strange? She's not aiming for me?'

Sylvia looked down at Jun's food too and decided to quickly check his as well.

This time she could clearly detect the strong essence of a poison, although each world had different poisons, the Villain had been subjected to enough to easily detect the essence of one.  

"System." The Villain lightly called out in her head.

No reply was heard...

It was strange, the system, although it was just a simple lifeless computer, it always quickly responded. 

"System." Again the Villain called out.

Finally after a few seconds, the system responded. "Yes, host."

The Villain was still a little curious as to why the system seemed delayed, but she didn't pay too much attention to it.

"What type of poison is in the food?"

The System's monotone voice sounded out. "『Krovine』a deadly poison that shuts down the internal organs within a few minutes of ingestion."

So it really was a deadly poison...

The Villain was surprised, again the world was targeting Jun instead of her.

She thought for sure it would be her this time, but alas it was not. Even though the world should want to kill her with her status as Villain, it instead aimed at Jun...
