Silently Jun got on his knees and began gently placing kisses atop Sylvia's hands.

Seductively he looked up, his hair slightly tousled to make him appear even more handsome.

Still placing gentle kisses on Sylvia's hand he repeated his question.

"Marry me?" Jun's voice was deep and seductive.

Hoping that Jun was simply joking Sylvia tried to pull her hands away from his tight yet gentle grip. She hadn't wanted this to happen again so she wouldn't accept it.

However he still wouldn't let go.

Seeing that Jun was still playing around Sylvia rubbed her tired eyes before coldly asking him a question.

"And why should I?"

Expecting such an answer from his cold beauty, Jun lightly sighed. 'Unfortunately she isn't trying to get the crown after all...'

Still he had heavily prepared for this type of reply.

"We are both in need of fiance's. Our marriage would create the perfect alliance between our two countries. Moreover, as your knight I can always stay by your side and protect you. You would never have to lower yourself to anyone, not even me. I would stand at the top of the world, everyone would bow before me, and I as your husband, I would bow only before you."

He paused, placing another light kiss on the palm of her hand before continuing. "Please stay by my side, I will give you anything you want, even the world if you so desire. Whatever you want I will gift to you because I love y-"

Before The man could continue Sylvia quickly covered his mouth with her hands.

She refused to hear the words he wanted to say.

She had not calculated this happening again, rather she had ignored the possibility of it happening, she didn't want to accept it, so her weary mind quickly formed a response in order to cut down the man.

"Haha You're wrong, I'm already twenty six, an old lady. As the new king you shouldn't sell yourself short. Rather, go out and get a young, real beauty or marry another princess."

Sylvia paused before bringing out the final blade. "I will even help you before I head back to my country, alone."

All of Sylvia's words cut daggers into Jun's heart as he blankly stared forward. He hadn't expected such an opposing response.

He had expected to at least tie her down with the proposition of an alliance between their two countries, after all that was why she became engaged to the second prince in the first place. Yet now, she didn't even seem the least bit interested...

Had she actually felt something for the second prince? Or did she just dislike him...

As Jun became deeply lost in thought, Sylvia took the opportunity to release his hold on her while swiftly walking out.

As Sylvia rushed out her emotionless eyes held a hint of doubt. "Politically it would make sense to marry me, yes, there's no deeper meaning behind his words" She still didn't want t admit it. She had tried so hard to ignore every sign of it so far. To play dumb.

But as she walked she remembered the gentle look in Jun's eyes. "Even... Even if... No that doesn't matter because even if he was, he would still betray me later. Yes... And I have no room for love." She wouldn't accept that man's feelings, instead she would continue pretending like she never noticed them, to simply play dumb.

After a moment of being frozen Jun finally got up in a hurry.

"...Sylvia."

"SYLVIA!"

Desperately Jun called out, running down the hall to chase his princesses.

However Sylvia quickly concealed her presence as she dogged into one of the rooms. She wasn't ready to continue talking yet.

She could hear his voice echo in the corridor but she refused to see him now. No matter how desperate he sounded.

For the first time in many worlds her brick-like heart was almost moved, such things were dangerous so the villain needed some space.

"Triple six, what is the progress of this world?"

"【Story Progress: -55% 】"

'Tch only that far... ?' The villain had been pretty lazy in this world, she had relaxed and let her guard down. So although she didn't like it, she could understand why the progress was still only at -55%.

'I guess it's time to pair Jun and Princess Mirabelle.'

Although Jun and the FL pairing had yet to work, the Villain was determined to make it work on her third world. 'After all, wasn't the saying, third world's a charm?'

Just as she thought this, she suddenly felt a chill run down her spine.

*Desert Note: *~Just a little side note~* If anyone is wondering why he didn't present a ring, it's because those are not custom in this world.

That being said...

Jun: *Reaching behind for a small box of sweets and silently cursing. "I knew I should have started with the sweets first!"
