Arc 2 Chapter 25: The CEO Is My Lover

Jun got up, confused from being shoved and not comprehending what had just happened. 

Dazed he looked up to see Sage standing in front of him on the stage.

"Wh-why are you standing up here?" Innocently Jun looked up, still not comprehending what had just happened.

Sage tried to answer but was unable, instead she started staggering back, falling towards the ground. 

Before she reached the cement floor Jun quickly caught her.

"Ah, what's wrong? Are you feeling lightheaded, do you need medicine?!" Jun frantically asked still unable to process the situation.

Again Sage tried to answer but instead she coughed out a mouthful of blood. 

Hysterically Jun tried to wipe her bloodied lips. In the process he noticed his blood soaked hands that had been on Sage's back.

Finally his eyes widened in shock as his mind began to process what had just happened.

"S-SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" Jun madly yelled as his voice broke.

He had finally noticed the three blood soaked bullet wounds littered on Sage's body.

His eyes shook with deep fear and darkness as he held Sage in his shaking hands.

On the other hand security guards quickly rushed over grabbing the insane Zana who kept yelling how she needed to kill Jun.

Meanwhile the place was in total chaos as the rest of the audience were in shock or screaming as the camera kept rolling.

Only one person looked completely calm, and she was the one bleeding out on the floor dying.

"C-CALL, CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!" Jun kept frantically yelling never taking his eyes off the pale Sage. As though doing so would cause her to disappear right before his eyes. Instinctively he held her slightly tighter in his arms, scared she would leave at any second.

Sage on the other hand took her hands putting them over Jun's mouth. She knew she wasn't going to live, so there was no point in yelling such things.

Her life was quickly draining and she would be gone within minuets.

Jun immediately calmed his voice as tears instead started to flood his eyes. 

After which, Sage turned her eyes directly onto the still rolling camera and audience as she started to weakly speak.

"I am Sage, founder and CEO of V-tech corp. From this day on I pass successor-ship onto Jun, my secretary. He is to be the sole owner from now on." Although Sage had already written this all in a will and other such documents, she knew that such things could be destroyed. Instead she decided to guarantee Juns successor-ship through words.

Yes, this was the grand finale. 

If she had a little more time she had planned to make this all known through an awe-inspiring interview revealing everything, however her plans were a little sidetracked and now it was too late. That was ok though, since right now she was on T.V. where there would be taped video evidence as well as witnesses, this way she could die fully guaranteeing Juns successor-ship.

Looking back at Jun she expected him to be slightly relieved, after all now he would get to fully keep her company without any worries. 

Instead as she looked up at him his eyes only turned crazier.

"N-No, I...I don't need such things, only Sage, yes only you-YOU! D-don't say such things as though you're going to... d-d-di-" He couldn't spit out the rest of the sentence as though doing so would cause it to become a reality.

"...Don't... worry... I have faith that you...yo-you will run the company smoothly..." As the villain, Sage wasn't very familiar with comforting others, but she tried her best... 

"...NO...You-YOU CAN'T... We-we promised... YES, YES haha we, we made a promise... You, you promised you wouldn't leave me... YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME! SO Y-YOU CAN'T BREAK YOUR PROMISE!" As Jun continued speaking, his eyes only grew darker and crazier.

"...I'm...S-sorry..." Sage gently spoke nearing her end.

"DON'T SAY YOU'RE SORRY! A-Agree with me, tell me I'm right, d-don't apologize...NEVER APOLOGIZE!!!" Jun's eyes continued to flood with tears as his arms wrapped tightly around Sage as though doing so would prevent her from leaving him.

Sage thought about saying more but her vision grew blurry, she started to close her eyes knowing her time was almost up.

"NOOO, DON'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE! YOU CAN'T! Please, please don't. I still haven't... I st-still haven't shown you my love, I still want to stay by your side, I need you, I need you, you-you're the only one, I...I don't need anything...please...please...... please, I just need you..." Jun continued to desperately speak.

"I love you...I need you... please don't leave me..." Jun repeatedly muttered, tightly holding Sage deep in his arms. 

Unfortunately for him he had already long ago been holding a corpse.
