When snow falls, it's slow and sweet as if the universe is sending gentle kisses before showering us with love.
That's what it felt like when I met you, but this feeling was faster.
I expected snow flurries and instead was swallowed up by a blizzard and I loved the thrill.
A headstrong blizzard met a raging forest fire and it was a game of who would put out who.
The thing about blizzards is they cover everything up the slate appears clean.
But appearances only last so long, and when the fire starts to melt the snow, what's hiding underneath resurfaces.
You finally admitted what you were hiding and I thought that was the end of the blizzard.
Instead, my fire dimmed.
You went on your way, and I lost my glow.
We got our answer, and it was me who was put out by you.
What felt like the end of our story, was only the beginning.
I would take it all back if I could.
