I sat in silence on our bed as I held a small toy Demi always had with her. I fiddled with the toy having a tear slip from my eye.
All day me and Jaden have been grieving. It hurts so much to not have them here with me. It mental stabbed my heart to know they were being put up for adoption. Jaden had been ranting how sad and stupid he fells for letting them go. He's upset they took his baby girl and son that he so happy about having, until they left. I went on how could people do that to others. They just ripped them out of our life like nothing, and for what? I love them so much it's impossible for me not to blame myself. Me and Jaden already went through the conversation how it's not my fault and shit but deep down I know I'm part of the reason why they left. I could've started ahead and trained to be a foster parent, or even looked into it. But I didn't and that's why I can't stop blaming myself. Jaden has told me that we'll get them back, but how are we sure those people are not going to do it on purpose and not let us see them? I've tried to text Ben multiple times but they all are on deliver still. I believe they took his phone. Fuck.
The bathroom door unlocked to an upset Jaden. He threw his dirty clothes in a basket and rubbed his neck and eyes. He was just in joggers as his wet hair was all messy. I looked back at the toy as Jaden walked out the room, he came back with Shiloh who may I also say has been acting upset and down. He loves the kids and it makes me happy he does, but being taken away from that has made him upset and lonely.
Jaden placed Shiloh on the bed and turned off the lights to our room and slowly dragged his feet across the room. He sat at the edge of the bed. At this point we've cried so much it's hard to cry even more.
Jaden slowly got under the covers without any words and turned to me as I still fidgeted with the toy in my hands. "Baby let's go to sleep." Jaden said softly as I just looked down at the toy.
"Baby.." he said placing his hand on my thigh.
"I miss them.." I said in a whisper as a tear fell.
"I do too, but we have to be ready to get them back." He said as he stood up as well, his legs crossed in front of me as I didn't want to look up.
He slowly took the toy out of my hands and looked at it. He was so hurt. He slowly put it on the bed side table and looked back to me. He pulled me close to him and laid down in the bed. He pulled the blanket over us in hope I felt comfort more.
"We'll get they back, they're our kids. Trust me I promise." He said kissing my forehead and putting my head into his chest. I let a few tears drop because that's all I could let out. All my sobs, gone from crying too much.
We laid there for a few seconds until Shiloh came into the middle of me and Jaden. He snuggled into us as he was upset too. He needs comfort as well.
I stroked the dogs head as he slowly went to sleep. I looked up at Jaden who was just looking at me.
I smiled a little as he did too. He leaned in and placed his lips on mine for a few seconds before pulling away and holding my hand.
"I love you" he said softly and in a tired way.
"I love you too" I said kissing his cheek as he weakly smiled now. His body close to mine as shiloh's body was close as well.
Time skip
morning
I sat up rubbing my eyes as the presents of Jaden was still in front of me. Shiloh was awake but laying down on his dog bed across the room.
I looked over to Jaden who was peacefully sleeping.
I laid back down and stared up at the ceiling. Everything came flooding back from what happened yesterday. It made me want to cry but now made me want to punch a fucking wall. I got up without waking Jaden up and grabbed my laptop from my desk. And went back over to the bed. I sat down on the bed as I searched up ways to adopt kids fast.
As I was looking I scrolled through and found what I was looking for. I have to schedule to meeting so they can see if we're parent material.
Jaden shifted around in the bed as he opened his eyes slowly. "Hi princess" he said in his raspy morning voice as he was sitting up.
"Hey" I said turning to him and smiling.
"Look we have a chance of getting them back. I'm scheduling a meeting with the place to show we're parent material." I said pointing to the screen On my laptop.
"Great, when's the earliest one?" He asked sitting up fast. "Tomorrow at..2:00pm" I said as he nodded.
I scheduled the meeting and we're accept to come in.
I put my laptop away and went to brush my teeth and hair. I came back over to the bed where Jaden was on his phone. He got up and kissed my forehead and went into the bathroom. He came out later with a smile on his face. "Why so smiley?" I asked as his smile spread to my face.
"Because were becoming real parents" he said as he walked over to me. Thats when it hit me, this is real. I'm going to have my real kids with my real husband. This isn't a dream.
"Yea.." I said looking down blushing.
"You excited..?" He asked as I looked up at him and nodded. "I've always wanted kids with you." I said grabbing his hands as I placed mine in his.
"And I always wanted kids with you too." He said picking me up and wrapping my legs around his waist. He switched positions and was now sitting on the bed with me on his lap.
"When we get them back, we're going to be a big family again." He said with a grin from ear to ear.
"I know, the most amazing family." I said thinking on how they'll be ours officially when we get them back home.
"I want them back fast.. I miss my babies." I mumbled as Jaden lifted my face up to look at me in The face.
"Me too, but we gotta hope for the best." He said weakly smiling now trying not to break down any second.
"Okay.." I said leaning my head on his chest.
Time skip
Afternoon
I've tried so hard to contact Ben, but he doesn't give me a reply. They have no right taking his phone away, it's bullshit.
I groaned as I walked into the kitchen to see Jaden making something on the stove.
"What's wrong chula?" Jaden said as he cut up carrots. "Just worried about them.." I said putting my elbows on the counter and putting my face into my hands. He came around from where he was standing and walked over to me.
"Come here" he said behind me as I wrapped my arms around his neck placing my head into his chest.
"I love them so much, I'm just scared" I said letting a few tears fall.
"Me too princess, but they're okay I promise. They can't treat kids like shit cause they could be fired for that. I promise you they are doing fine, just maybe upset.. we just need to fight for them." Jaden said soothing as he ran his fingers through my hair and pulled me closer to him body if possible.
