Chapter 45: Found
A year has passed, and my Dad is now free from bars. I cried and cried that time on how grateful I am. My dream has come, my prayer has answered. Those obstacles we've been through, were the proof that strengthened us on who I am today...
My mom is also recovering. Kasama na namin siya sa bahay.
The new Governor, who was the Vice Governor, gave us a gift, a house for us to start a new beginning in our life. My story became widespread on the internet. Some comments state that it was inspirational.
I may be betrayed, I might get lost and question why am I still living?
But life reminded me–I have purpose.
The calling that has been I dreamed back then, that I questioned, will be the reason for me to inspire others.
A lot of triumphs, doubts, and pains have come in my life... but this purpose is my reason why I'm still living.
People may come in, and leave you behind. You may feel alone at times of darkness, but you werent. Through this journey, they would still stay. Just like Josaiah who helps me in college. Opportunities would also be open, and I became a scholar. It's not part of my prayers, but He sent me people to be with me.
Marcus has led me with Him. Those confusion, those doubts, those pains–was exchanged into hope.
"I might get lost, I might lose people around me. But He shook me, to remind me He won't ever leave me." I paused for a while. "'Cause through Him, I am found." Ngumiti ako sa madla, as I shared that testimony.
Inilibot ko ang paningin ko. Some of them has teary eyes, sunod dumapo ang paningin ko sa magulang ko.
We're now complete.
"Thank you, Marcus." I mouthed.
I wrote this testimony of myself.
"Above all, I've always been grateful for who I am today. A LPT teacher, a dreamer and a believer. This is Lisianthus Yvonne Vezina." "Thank you, and God bless us all." I lowered my head.
Everyone claps their hands.
"Ma'am Vezina, ayaw mo ba talaga magblind date.
She's my co-teacher, she's actually jolly, which reminded me of the characteristics of Juni. Maingay, at madaldal din kasi siya.
"Sayang. Doctor pa naman 'yon, graduated Cum Laude sa UP. May sariling sasakyan, though may tatlong exes. Pero malay mo 'di ba?! You're still single."
