Kripa's POV

I came out just taking a shower rubbing my hairs. I sit on my bed and check my phone.

2 notifications from "Yash!" 20 minutes ago.

I bite my lower lip and open the chat.

Y - Hi, I hope I am not disturbing!
Y - If you are busy I won't text or if you are not willing.

This man thinks a lot.

K - Hi, I am not busy.

I was about to keep the phone when I got his message.

Y - I texted so that I can ask if you are available on Saturday. Just confirming.

K - Yes, I am. I don't have office on sat and sun

Y - Have you been to Toxida Road ?

K - yes

Y - great so we can meet near zudio there.

K - Okay ! Done. at what time?

Y - A full day so 10 AM !

K - 👍

A saw him typing something but then he stopped. Again he is typing something but again he stopped.

K - you wanna say something?

Y - Yes

I wait for his further response.

Y - Do you like watching cricket or playing cricket?

I press the call button and he picks it up after few seconds.

"Hello"

"Hi...actually I hate texting that's why I just called"

"Oh no problem, this is way better" He spoke with a sweet voice as he does.

"So, to your question. I love both. I mean I used to play cricket with my friends in school and college as well"

"Oh girls in your school used to play Cricket? I never saw in mine. They used to play mostly kho kho. Sorry if it is sounding offensive or anything. I am not a debater if you will question me that why can't girls play cricket. They can, they surely can" He immediately cleared himself

I lightly giggled. He is....Cute.

"Relax, I am not a debator as well. No questioning anything. In school and college I used to play with my guy friends! In school only one girl used to join me and in college 2-3"

He takes a deep breath "Thank god you didn't stretch the topic, actually whenever I have said this to a few girl, they have given me a long essay over it. I mean, I am just surprised and happy that atleast girls are actively participating in sports somewhere if not my school ! I never intended to attack them"

"When girls get opportunity to tell about the things they don't like or stopped because of some reason they speak about it when they feel like they should. It's about opportunity, maybe they never spoke about it to anyone but when you said it, they just let it go" I Shrug explaining.

He chuckles "We just deviated from the topic of why I asked you about cricket!"

I just smile. I know he can't see it "Yeah. Why did you ask it?"

"Wanna come with me to watch world cup?" He asked

"It's after 2 weeks"

"Yes I know. If We will plan not to get engaged after 2 weeks then we can go. So would you like to join me? And I feel this time India will be in final"
