Chapter 6

Maggies POV:

"Shawn, believe me. Everything is fine. It's just because... "
"It's just because of what Maggie, tell me. Come on! Things'll get better, I promise!" ,he said. "My... ". *my phone vibrates* I look at it, seeing that I have 1 missed call from an unknown number and 3 missed calls from Leah.

I tap on her contact and call her.
"Leah?" "Maggie where are you ? Come to the hospital now! Your mom, she's getting better!" "I'm coming!" I answer and end the call. "Shawn I have to go to the hospital now ! It's my mom, Leah said she's getting better!" I say while trying to stand up.

Shawn answers: "Oh my god, I'm coming with you hun...ehhh Maggie!" Wait, what? Did he say 'hun'... I asked myself while I change my ice-skeating-shoes to my normal shoes. Hm, it doesn't matter now, my mom is more important at the moment!

So I take a look to Shawn who is ready for our trip to the hospital. "Come on ,hurry up Maggie!" he said. "Yeah, I'm ready to go!" I'm so happy to hear good news from my mom.
*in front of the hospital*

"Maggie, can you see Leah over there? She's waiting at the entrance." Oh, I can see her, I said"

Leah's POV:
Why the hell is Shawn with Maggie? Is she spending time with him?-Maggies voice interrupted me.

"Thank you so much for calling me. I'm so sorry that I missed your calls but now I'm here and I've never been more happy to be at the hospital" she said smiling brightly. "Hm yes... it's cool that your mom is getting better now. " I answer sounding a bit too annoyed.

Maggie looks at me confused but she didn't say anything. The doctors came and showed Maggie to her moms room. Shawn lays an arm around her while walking. Is something going on with them? What am I talking about we all spend time together since 3rd grade. Maggie would tell me.

Maggies POV: We go into the room of my mom and I immediately run to her und fall into her arms. She really looks way better than a few weeks ago. I started crying of happiness.

"Oh sweetie! I missed you so much. Don't worry you are not gong to loose me." she said reassuring me. "Where's Melody ?" My mom asks looking around. "She's at a friends place" I answer. " I can go and pick her up" Shawn offers smiling. "Thank you shawn, that would be great" my mom replies.

After Shawn brought Melody here we just talked and Luc, Shawns and Leahs parents also came to visit. It is already 7pm and they have to leave now.

Shawn was about to go through the door when the person I wanted to see the least came in. My stepfather Aron. "Darling, I'm so happy to see that your are better" he said sweetly and walked over to hug my mom.

God I wanted to puke. This little asshole acts like nothing happend! Like he didn't cheat on my mom! Should I tell her? I'm going to tell her. " Aron don't you want to tell my mom something ? " I say sternly.

"What are you talking about, Maggie?" he laughs but I could see the death stare in his eyes. "Oh I don't know maybe that your are cheating on her with another woman!"

" What? I would never do that. I think you had a long day maybe we should go home" he says acting like the perfect husband. If i could, then I would strangle him.

Shawn looked at me with an I'll text you later look. I take Melody by the hand, say goodbye to mom and we head home.
